I'm trying to get in touch with Debora about a COVID-19 PSA Music Video we're doing based on "Wrap it Up" by Isaac Hayes & David Porter; Romeo Void did a cover of it and we'd love to have Debora do a quick cameo. Can I get her email from you?
Romeo Void is underrated af. They are a killer band. Their Sax player is gnarly. He could play, and wrote sic pieces of music with the Sax. Debora writes deep lyrics at times. And she can sing. She gave off cool and sexy vibes while singing. I dig this band. Salute!
Wow ! Your voice is exactly the same as it was in the 80s. I saw you at Magic Mountain. A friend and I drove out to do "Los Angeles things" in the spring of 83 and seeing Romeo Void was one of them. Buying 3 for $20 sunglasses in Venice Beach, listening to KROQ and going to Tower records on Sunset were also on the itinerary.
She really was punk in the fact that she wasn't the cookie cutter, blondie hottie size zero that was singing about vacation. All I ever wanted like the sell out Go Go's. She was true to herself and real to the times. Girl In Trouble was unfortunately a common thing for alot of my girlfriend's at the time. Teen pregnancy rate was very high. Girls where seen as eye candy and not much else. I was attracted to her realness in the fact that she wasn't like all the others! It's a shame the music business isn't about music.
