@@Phila80 It depends on your time horizon. 25 years ago I could buy silver for $4.00 per ounce and gold below $300 per ounce. That's about 8 times for silver and about 8 times for gold. The past 25 years have been good considering how the next 25 years will play out. I believe the last 25 years of silver and gold advances will repeat on steroids.

You need to read "Broken Money". Let me ask you. Up until the internet came about do you think full survice stock brokers thought their jobs were at risk? No of course not. But they are all but extinct. Why? Efficency. Why would I call a broker up and tell them to buy 100 shares of APPL that costs me 20 bucks, and another 20 bucks to sell. So 40 bucks. And it was slow. BTC is way better than the dollar in all respects except one. And that exception is it is not accepted everywhere. But the cool thing, even now, is that you can convert BTC to almost any local currency. Read the book before you pass judgment on something you are not educted on. You are probably just spouting off ... the exact thing the elites that control the dollar want you too.

Sound money is anything that has the attributes of hard money (scarcity, divisibility, transportability, verifiability, fungibility, durability). Bitcoin is objectively the hardest money in human history. It is better than any other form of money based on these attributes, and it is the first provably scarce asset.

Very bad to tell people BTC is money. The arguments about btc and gold are wrong in this video. First, btc will never be money. It just cannot work as money. Without government there is no society. If btc would be the only money, the ones with most btc would be in power and have the arms and the guys with the guns. Forget democracy then. Apart from that, the limit of 21 mln btc is a flaw. Economy, people, society grows, so if money stays stuck, it's hugely deflationary forever and that kills progress. On top of that, the 21mln will slowly go to zero in time, because wallets will get lost because we are humans. And those btc will never come back, i.e., extra deflationary. Why would you invest in or start a business if your 'money' increases in value each month? Gold is ideal. It grows slowly, with population and economy growing, and government can still exist, based on that gold. There is no alternative. All these btc people think they invented the wheel again. So untill they find out it does not work as money, which would be the imaginary day that gold and or dollar goess away, btc will go up, and then collapse.

Bitcoin appreciating in price isn't a form of inflation? If Bitcoin is "sound money" simply based on the end total supply of 21 million? Can't someone create a crypto where the supply cap is even less and reaches that supply cap faster? Would that make it superior to bitcoin? It only takes a half hour to create a new cryptocurrency. What's to say banks cant create a limited supply stablecoin? Cryptocurrency has several use cases, but an investment is not one of them. It does not have to have value or generate a return to use its technology capabilities. Bitcon is not an asset, its a fantasy and a delusional way of obtaining wealth and Bitcoin 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 can be created at any moment.

Tariffs on a dollar standard is a way to make most products unaffordable and put the companies making them out of business and the people working there out of work. A Bitcoin standard is the only way you can bring manufacturing home and prevent China from paying slave wages.
