@@malachispencer7523 Some wrong info there. You need no rating to get or transfer Hazelwood Act. You must have entered in service from Texas and honorable discharge.
Another great vacation saver that I have used often in Mexico. Is the Armed Forces Vacation Club (AFVC). You get a complete week at a luxurious hotel for very little. My wife and I went to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for a week at 300 dollars. The rooms alone were that much per night. And again in Mazatlan. They have time shares all over the world. You can even gift a week vacation to a friend or family member.
@@Bangarang07I disagree, but the latest version of the RU-vid app allows you to zoom in. Perhaps you can zoom in and crop out that area of the video while still benefiting from his informational content. 😊
We not only get free entry to national parks, and most state parks, we also get rentals for half price. I went camping and was able to get the biggest campsite slip, cabin rentals, etc. at half price. Early June my family and I went to Fort Pickens National Park for 10-nights. The price is normally $40 per night. But for us disabled veterans we paid only $20 per day/night. And the beaches there, Pensacola, Florida are the best.
Im disabled veteran and 10 points veterans never helps get me hired in Federal Government takes e 4 years to get in. Federal government nowadays doesn’t care tou are disabled veteran. @@spasplash156 submitted many applications in March 2024. AAFES and secular. The companies are not interested in a Disabled veteran with Severe Loss of Hearing. Or Chronic low back pain.
I think that I’m facing an issue that many others are or will experience. I’m 50% service connected, when I should be at 100, but that’s for a later discussion lol. I used VR&E from 2011-2016. When I accepted the program, my counselor told me that I had to forfeit my GI:Bill to use VR&E, which I accepted since the latter is better. I decided to go back to school this and use VR&E again, but was denied because I’m employed. The case worker told me I could use my GI:Bill; that shocked me, so I looked into it and sure enough it was usable after VR&E, but it expired in 2022. Now, I’m fighting to have my benefits reinstated for another degree and this sucks, because they keep denying it. 😢 I’d have continued my debt free education if I knew that I could have used my GIBill after earning my last degree. Do you help with these type cases too?
I want student loans forgiveness I’m 80% static and the reason I am in debt is because they changed the post 9/11 GI Bill, and they stopped paying us for 36 months straight to only paying when you were enrolled in a certain amount of classes per semester. Totally screwed me over. I had to take out loans to pay the rent and wasn’t notified of the change until I went to my VA rep at my university.
What about my debt? I was given an exit bonus but 10 years later enlisted into the guard. I now have to pay back that exit bonus. If they’re forgiving school debt. Why can’t I have mine forgiven.
If you’re currently going to school and get 100%, be sure to call VA and pause the forgiveness. That way your debt gets wiped out once you’re fully done going to school 👍🏽👍🏽
@henrymosquera8646 oh nice! Tbh I don't see myself traveling to the Philippines just for a check-up (I got Korean insurance), but it is good to know just in case. I appreciate the info 💪🏽
Two questions: 1. If you live in CA and are rated at 100%, your children can go to any cal state or state university for free? 2. What is the property tax benefit if you are rated at 100% in CA and your home is worth $1.2M (purchased @ $800k)?
