@@amitposthair Good to hear from you! One question, did the clinic provide that " bucket hat" for you? If so, did they say it was okay to wear it after 24 hours of your procedure so you can travel back to your residence so not fear the open scalp be subjected to germs, Covid? I'm contemplating my 2nd procedure but the Turkish clinic in Cancun Mexico suggested not to wear one back to my residence in Washington DC. I just can't see traveling through an airport with fresh open procedure exposed to everything. Thanks for any reply !!!
@@Jay6459you can wear the hat after first hair wash but only to protect from sunny environment or anything can be harmful if you are indoor don’t use the hat or open hat can’t be on more then two hours
it does happen! but it really depends on indivduals. I had a lot of greys on my donor area but after it being transplanted, i only had a few on my hairline and midscalp. I may do a video on this to speak more detail of it but its definaetly an interesting topic!
nothing on your donor area! just let that heal on its own and get back to normal. For the recepient area, i have listed most of the aftercare i use in the video description you can check it out there

Hi Amit, just a request. Would you be willing to comb your hair slicked back? Instead of combing sideways, comb it all backwards? Reason being, when I do that, there is a a lot less hair coverage when combed backwards than side parted. I’m able to see areas where it’s less dense despite transplant being done there and combing side parted covers the dead zones and bald areas.
i've tried this before! but my hair hasnt been long enough for a slick back look. But i agree with you sometimes the side parting does cover a few dead zones on your head. It think maybe having side parting hairstyle works best for a hair transplant anyway!
I decided not to go with minoxidil or finasteride after transplant. The only routine I use is biotin and low level light therapy through a laser device. The results from using LLLT are supposed to be just as good or better than minoxidil according to one doctor doctor (Gary Unkov). Plus when I was on minoxidil before my transplant, once I stopped taking it my hair very quickly fell off to the extreme. Makes me wonder what would happen to you if you stop it. You’re not planning on taking those medications the rest of your life I hope? The doctors I spoke to at my clinic that they hate the subject of either one of those chemical hair growth items. We will see over the rest of time how it works out. Also great to see that hair! Thanks for your videos. N
I dont think i'll be on it for the rest of my life, but will defintely keep at it for the next few years. Will have to see where im at with my hair by then! But thank you for the compliment! im currently loving how its turned out!
You have great results bro. I am on day 5 after my procedure at Vera. Doc prescribed me Topical finasteride only because of side effects of oral. Also not to take minoxidil as it will reverse the results once stopped. What are your views.
thank you!! dont take minoxidil on your recipient at the start, use it on your donor area first as it will still go into your bloodstream on your scalp but not affec the transplanted area. Do that for the first 6 months and see your results from there. I did that then started applying it on my transplatned area and that helped enhance my result. I also took oral fin with zero side effects!

Finasteride is so hard to get, I got my transplant done in May, I have been using Regaine Minoxidil, the result is showing, however the fear is loosing my existing hair, how can I get it in Gulf countries , I consulted doctors in USA and Canada but it seems like an impossible thing, it would be great if you can get back to me on this
im not a huuuuge fan of it as the side effects include increased heart rate and heart burns. I had a thing when i was younger with my heart so im not thinking to take that. The topical version of it has been working fine for me so im sticking with it for now. I think takign both finasteride and minxodil work best when they are used together!

Hey Amit, weird question, i'm at 3 months post op, and the hairline still isn't visible, but there is a bit of density around the mid scalp, but I heard the front singles always show first, does this mean it's failed or gotta wait?
i think still wait a while. 3 months is still a fairly early time, but by the 4th-5th month you should start seeing hairs grow out on your hairline. hang in there!
