What I find really upsetting and hurtful, now I know the truth, is the other night Lee posted a video that featured a deceased friend that supposedly came through alexa. And if he genuinely did lose a friend how absolutely awful for that family if he used them in this scam, absolutely disgraceful!!

I'd say the reason he sleeps in the lounge room has little to with portals suddenly appearing in walls or fishing line on pulleys tossing around pieces of furniture, but instead it's because she's sick of his antics and has told him to move the operation away from the place where she goes to sleep. Also, isn't it conspicuously odd that almost always in every channel's video that whenever poltergeists start throwing things about it's never the toppling of the Louis the XIV, gold gilt framed antique mirror we see smashed into a billion expensive pieces, landing upon their 14th century Balsa wood sideboard bearing their priceless collection of antique ships in bottles and the flying fragments utterly obliterating their Ming dynasty jade teapots (as seen on Antiques Roadshow)? I'm so glad you did this video because I've been recently wondering specifically about this topic. I watched a ghost hunting video that had this in it and have seen this before and was wondering how this is explained because I really don't believe in it actually showing spirits.
I remember in the beginning, it looked pretty real. Until he started working with the sls. Suddenly I noticed that his shadow is not correct, in those videos. I once asked him how it is possible that his shadow does not match with the light and with his movements in the movies with the sls camera. When you see it, you'll immediately know what I mean. But of course I get no answer. Now that i have seen this i finally understand how it works. You are the first to explain it logically.
I don't know about this argument. Two solid objects being tracked will lose track if one goes behind the other, but with one being transparent wouldn't that be different. I doubt Xbox has ever experimented with that. Now I'm not saying Lee is real because we all know it isn't. I'm just saying two solid people versus one solid and one transparent might make the SLS act differently.
The SLS was first used to “track ghosts” on the show Ghost Adventures. That alone should make people question it’s validity. The fact that you have to even explain this to people hurts my brain.
According to his community page Lee and the fam are off to Lanzarote soon! I hope he's booked a seat for Vlad though, airlines only allow under 2yr olds to fly for free! I'm not sure they'll stretch that rule to cover a several hundred year old ghost/demon/poltergeist! 👻 .
I don't disagree with the principle of what you are saying... The kinect cannot see a person behind a person but a spirit isnt a person and doesn't have a body. You cover yourself by saying that to track an object the kinect must be able to "see" it ... Thats definitely not true... Anyone who has used a kinect will know that it just randomly startes tracking things that aren't there, especially the early models. I know the really haunted bloke is fake, you are 100% correct about that... But the kinect can and does glitch out and occasionally track nothing... It will also start tracking door frames and chair legs
If the normal camera shows no "ghost" but the Kinect draws a stick figure there, then there is still nothing actually blocking the Kinect from seeing a real person behind that stick figure and drawing them too. No X-ray is needed unless the "ghost" were still visible when it passed behind the human. The thing I noticed is that in one video, he is shown as a red figure, and then another red figure arrives and leaves again. I don't have a Kinect but was under the impression that as long as the original stick figure remains on screen, any additional stick figure would have a different color assigned to distinguish them from figure 1, indicating shenanigans.

That scene was deleted, and the doll, and the kid-size chair, were never seen again in future shows of the same location (one of the hotels in Nevada's Virgjnia City).
Thanks Dan, I really enjoy these kind of videos and the way you explain it (you know I'm not a science person🤓) without me falling asleep. Like I said before, how on God's green earth does the SLS kinect find a ghost/poltergiest/demon that doesn't have a fricking skeleton! Ghost Adventures has a lot to answer for putting this idea into people's heads.
But according to Ghost Adventures, it's "undeniable evidence" 😂😂 It's funny how 99.9% of GA's "undeniable evidence" rely on devices that constantly produce false positives and easy contamination. Another example is the spirit box for instance, why do they always rely on it to sweep over stations and not just white noise? The simple answer? with the sls demo when they switch places one get obstructed because there's two physical people. but what if one figure was physical and the other figure is invisible/non physical state and get in front of each other would the sls/kinect still obstruct one or would it show both? after all the skeleton that's there is nonphysical with no mass/atoms. with real people one skeleton will block the other from view cause one solid person is in front of another solid person. but I wouldn't think the skeletons will be obstructed if one object is sold and the other is not, like gases.
Yes, this is fantastic! Hopefully, the more debunking that happens with the Kinect, the less we'll see people say crap like "RH is the most real thing I've ever seen!" I swear, I am starting to think he pays people to go on paranormal channels and do that. It's annoying. Would a show as popular as Ghost Adventures risk faking evidence? Do we disregard the sls because of possible video overlay or editing?
If you look at Lee's reactions, when he sees the figures and their colour on the screen live as the camera is filming, you have the question, how does this relate to your conclusions, that he overlays the figures later, during editing? If you watch his video carefully, you'll have even more questions, that can partly be explained by the editing, but not all of them. You have to be like James Cameron to make films like these. Of course, anything is possible if you wish, but if you study his videos in more detail, you'll likely come to the conclusion, that either this man is seriously ill to be James Cameron who makes films almost every day or a lot of this stuff is actually happening.
So glad MrGrey is doing a debunking of the SLS. I've been wanting this. I've also found SLS curious and got excited about it when I first saw it used, but as a skeptic, I also knew there must be some way to debunk it.

If you were to present to the world the occasional video of your own ghost hunting expedition to one of the various locations around your local area and beyond, I daresay that over time you'd amass an increasing following, even if you were to return 99 times out of 100 with nothing to show, other than your efforts, because your proven honesty has already garnered the respect of the 'online supernatural researching aficionado community' which, no doubt, would observe your explorations with confidence enough to know that when the 100th video appeared, declaring within something potentially paranormal to display, there would be no question as to whether or not it was a genuine example, and that is the type of street credit the contemporary online paranormal channel realm sorely requires, someone like you to bring to us who know the truth a real and actual example of the supernatural in action, (should you ever be fortunate enough to come across and record such a thing), because we can observe your findings with the surety that you are not going to sell out your credibility as an honest human being by creating falsehoods merely for a few quick bucks, (which still equates to the destruction of a quality with a value far beyond the material and too esteemed in the scheme of things to throw away for mere money, despite the proliferation of shonks daily seeking to prove to everyone otherwise!)
Great video! Yet again even more evidence that the SLS is not a reliable Ghost Hunting software. Don't get me wrong, it is an advanced software, but it can be easily manipulated and used to make videos like you shown in here.
Ever since Paranormal Activity 4 came out, Paranormal Investigators get tingles and jingles over the SLS camera scenes. The movie shows the actual IR grid SLS cameras emit to track an asset in 3d space. As somebody who has some working knowledge of VFX and 3d rendering, this is not a hard effect to achieve in the movie to make a ghost appear out of thin air. It still requires a talented VFX artist, which is not cheap. That's why I think ghost hunters do not use this aspect of the SLS cameras capability to show ghost activity. It's much quicker and cheaper to animate a janky stick figure in Blender. Let's suspend disbelief for a moment and consider the following. SLS cameras operate in the infrared range specifically. They are designed to find anything that looks like a human body, rig a skeleton to that body, and animate the skeleton the way IT thinks that body is moving.....regardless of how the body is actually moving or if there is a body there at all to begin with. If it has to guesstimate, so be it. Anybody else see a problem here? Bottom line, this technology can't function beyond the way it is physically designed to. It cannot pickup extra-dimensional data from beyond the ether. It's like saying my 2003 Buick can reach speeds of 900 mph and can even fly. No, it can't. That doesn't stop charlatans from breaking out the ol' flea circus to make a quick buck though. They prey on the unsuspecting and ignorant. That's why, now more than ever, critical thinking and intense scrutiny of corruptible concepts are important. I'm not saying question everything, I'm saying don't believe it. Objective reality comes from a process of intense review. Dismissing that process trickles down to more and more absurd thinking. Don't make the mistake of thinking only is it too late when the kool-aid cup is empty.
So you say the kinect doesn't have x ray vision so it can't see someone behind it. But it's supposedly "seeing a ghost". I don't actually believe any of these are ghosts, I like how you debunk these things, but correct me if im wrong, I don't think I need x ray vision to see through a ghost to detect that there is something on the other side of the ghost. The "ghost" kinect figure in these videos you showed are in front of the real person we can actually see. Care to clarify for me?
If you pay close attention while filming you can actually see the pixels moving before the ghost appears or manifests. You'll see movement and a slight shadow before kinect even picks it up or before you see movement of an object
Lee gives the impression that he, s a little bit slow, and tells us he can't read to will, doesn't know how to pray etc, etc, but yet he is able to play around well with technology!! I UNSUBSCRIBE D YESTERDAY, people felt sorry for him and posted him money, prayed for him and his family, some people are angry with him fot making a fool of them! Yeah, they're going on the assumption that it's tracking "movement" that can't be "seen." The problem is, that's not how vision or the SLS works, like Dan said. 🤣 Either there's something for photons to hit, and to reflect them, resulting in a "visible" _and_ trackable presence... or there isn't. They don't get to have it both ways. 🙄
I remember seeing some really early stuff done with the "SLS Camera"... On those the "appearances" were fragmentary and partial... (It was sort of obvious that the software was simply trying to make sense of background noise...) Obviously these guys have upped their game. What really worries me is that people BELIEVE this stuff is real... I tend to put this down to the way a lot of people have an almost superstitious obsession with technology... They wouldn't believe a person who claimed to see a ghost... but if it's "technology" that "sees" it then it must be true... They don't accept it in spite of not knowing how the technology actually works... They accept it BECAUSE they don't understand the technology... So, as far as they're concerned, the technology is just a modern equivalent of magic... which they assume "just works"... And they don't think about, or even try to think about, how it works, or how it might make mistakes... or assumptions...
I watched the whole video and something I noticed he did not take into account is that there are many different versions and they all work differently I respect his opinion if he does not believe I just don't feel that he was very convincing to me

There is a channel in Hong Kong. The RU-vidrs went to the most haunted place and they use the SLS camera. There were nothing on the screen but they certainly there were ghosts because another device can show it and other RU-vidr can smell the kinky stinky smell all of the sudden (usually when the ghosts were killed. There is a smell) So in conclusion, the SLR won’t be so sensitive to pick up any ghosts even the ghosts are present.
When you talk about science, you're closing your mind off to all truly scientific possibilities. The paranormal is within the realm of science, but it seems so far out there to us that we just can't accept it.
science will absolutely one day prove any of these things to be real if they are real. The problem with science is, so far its done nothing but prove them to not exist. Now - how long we keep having to prove, and how many ways we have to prove they don't exist, is up to you. Peoples consciousness only can have this experience through the vessel we call the human body. Once that body dies - that spark inside you leaves. It goes back to the source. The only souls in this plane are the living souls in a dying flesh prison.
Some of this reminds me of revealing magicians secrets (although these things take much, much less skill). What I mean is some people actually believe the illusions they see are real, actual magic. While the rest of us know it’s an illusion we are watching and try to figure out exactly how they do it. For some reason, probably because we want to believe ghosts are real, or an afterlife for that matter, what these people do seems much more offensive than watching magicians trick us with sleight of hand or some other illusion. Magicians will say what they do is real (some), but it’s usually half hearted so we stop asking how they do it. These people get offended if you even accuse them of creating an illusion or ask them.
So the whole argument is that a camera cannot see through something that is invisible??!? Rather a camera cannot see something that is invisible, so could not detect a human shape where there was none visible.
Hey partner, I have a thought, some of the clips with these kinetic trackers I noticed that it's like looking at a negative pic, such as the door being on the right instead of the left, some of their videos show their living rooms with a negative look, everything being on the opposite, just wondering if that's a possible way also, great job by the way on your channel❤️💯
I know this is rather late and a stupid -minor nitpick, but you mean mirrored. Negative is a color inversion. Left is Right is mirrored. Doesn't invalidate your point in the slightest; I just know that when I use the wrong terms, I prefer when those who know correct me in it.
In the latest lainey and ben video you can see people in green screen suits in the reflection of their tv, they took the video down and deleted any comments in their short video about it, and then claimed they took it down because people were giving them grief.
@@WorldofMrGrey yeah it was up for about 10 mins or so after they premiered it, me and a bunch of others saw it and started commenting "is that a guy in a green suit in the reflection of the TV" it was really obvious and clear thats what it was.
I saw that clip but it wasn't obvious it was anyone in a green suit. Another debunker, can't remember his name but he's American and wears a hockey mask. He showed the clip and it really wasn't clear what was going on. I'll try and find his video and post a link.

I can't tell you how much I love your accent Mr.G I would really love it if you show things where you have to agree, something a little odd is going on here. I promise you I seen one spirit one time of a child when I was young in the afternoon while I was unpacking a suitcase in a unit I'd stayed in before , it lasted 20 30 seconds, I was 22 now I'm 52 and I still see her, also the other stick figures aren't corporeal, how do they test for that. Having had a few kinects over the years watching these sls videos just has me saying BS to them, personal expereince with 4 kids playing games the tech gets confussed easy.
The second I first learned that SLS cameras use the same tech as the Kinect, I said, "well, that's not legit, then." Had both a 360 Kinect and an XB1 Kinect; both have gotten so easily confused and lost lock for no reason that I could never believe they can detect ghosts.
I understand what your saying about it being impossible to track one person behind another person but when the second person is “invisible” don’t you think that would make a difference. Having a person behind a ghost would be different from having a ghost behind the person. Both the clips you showed the ghosts were in front of the solid person. It wasn’t showing the ghost behind the solid person. I think I could say your 100% correct if the clips were showing the 2 stick figures at the same time if the Ghost was behind the human. From what I’ve seen it’s only ever been the human behind the ghost. Is what I’m trying to say making any sense?
This is a good point. Not saying that makes anything real, but a good point nonetheless and should be explained, especially if you can find video of supposed overlays in videos where you don't see the "ghost" also behind the human. In an overlay, you'd see it both ways.
Well, Damn. I still enjoy Lainey & Ben. I have always been a lil skeptical about any paranormal videos online, but their story and watching the progression of their story always has felt genuine. I think even if you have legit paranormal activity you would be hard pressed to have enough to have a channel and enough content to be profitable. That being said, though slightly disappointed I still enjoy some of the "ghost hunting" and paranormal channels. I am always looking for "How the heck did they do that?".....but some things just feel more possible I suppose than others....and some people come across as believable while others you just can sense the absolute fakeness.
Yes makes total sense, tnx, once my friend was making a snapchat video of me having breakfast, the filter picked up something above me and place the filter on it hahaa it was hilarious, like the snapchat didnt register my face but it registered something above my head and placed the filter on it, what happened there, hows that possible lol
Can you do some of TAPS Ghost hunters evidence. They are often called fake but they did catch some stuff that o would like to see a professional opinion on.
This video is trying to debunk based on the data of two PEOPLE walking passed each other. A spirit is not solid matter, infra-red beams/laser would potentially pass through a spirit and so the camera software would not behave in the same way as a real person moving infront of another. I don't really believe these paranormal clips but I feel he's debunking with incorrect data.

Promoting them to rational skeptics could be a good thing. If his viewers interact with those accounts, it will be to debunk and criticize their content, and that may just get a few of their subscribers thinking for a change. Besides, the man bought a Kinect. He's on a mission.

It's ridiculous that you call this "debunked" when all you're essentially saying is that since a human blocks a human behind it from being seen, therefore a ghost should also block a human behind it from being seen. That point sums up your entire 16-min "debunking" video. However, if the characteristics of the spirit energy are different than the characteristics of a human body (which we should absolutely assume to be the case), then we should expect different results from the display. This really just seems like someone who is dealing with cognitive dissonance and trying to convince himself that it can't possibly be real; otherwise it flies in the face of his belief system. There is absolutely no evidence that these videos are fraudulent. We would have to believe that all RU-vidrs that put this out are manipulating the data the same way to create the same results, are actors, and are purposefully deceiving their audiences. I'm just not ready to accept that level of conspiracy with these. If you have something more objective and substantive, please share.
Hi I understand that you can do video tricks with a very simple software. But that doesn't explain everything in the Really Haunted video. Shadows can be seen in his videos or orbs walking around the house. There is also that the entities attack him and his wife when they are sleeping. You don't just have to show us what suits you. What you do I find dishonest You only show a small fraction of what happens to him. He was haunted long before he used the software that shows stick figures. So you didn't really demystify his videos but show us that you can create avatars and make them do what you want

And then, on the other hand, those Kinect-Fanboys turn that 180 degrees around, when showing sls-stick-figures in a sls-ir-footage, where no ghost is visible. it's utter bollocks. :D Personally I do believe in the chance to catch a possible ghost with a camera that can capture light wavelengths outside our own human spectrum, which still has to be proved after all. But if this would be possible, the kinect would not just draw a stickman, but the captured image of the ghost. As you said. And so at least this Kinect-stuff is just bullshit. Carry on, Dan. @Brendan i don't think so. There are so many things we do not already know or can explain. Even with all your mentioned facts, it seems not to be childs play. Why should ghosts not be one of those mysteries? My uncle is an astrophysicist and does believe in god, even though science cannot prove it, just like ghosts. The problem is, if you never experienced a paranormal activity by yourself and saw any with your own eyes, it would be difficult to believe. And it sounds ridiculous. I understand that. I have experienced it. And i know there are things we cannot explain till now. But still i am sceptical regarding videos, like you or Dan. And i am shure, 99% of them are fake.
@Brendan And by the way, the same arguments, you are writing here can be put into the mouth of any authority in history... They always thought they already knew anything. So with your comment you are really(!) saying, that there cannot be any mysteries out there, because we would have found them already? Just because we have microprocessors and brain surgery? There is really, really nothing out there we still have to research? Or are ghost your exception because of a personal tendency?
