Thank you for your performance. I enjoyed it. Technically it’s of moderate difficulty but it requires feelings of poetry and shades of colour to bring it off. It calls for musicianship of a high order. One must revel in the sounds themselves and dwell in their beautiful harmonies.

I'm not musically inclined but i just think i noticed something.. the chord your play twice at 5:21... seems like is resolves or has a neat variation of it (which is actually played twice in the piece) at 13:51 near the end? how come i never noticed this before..? i wonder why? and does it have any significance...?

New player here (self taught, couple of months in and about half way through the first Faber book). Hearing Clair De Lune for the first time was the trigger that made me want to learn in the first place. I’ve watched a couple of your videos and even though I don’t fully understand all of the concepts yet I find it so fascinating the theory behind it all. It is clear even to me that you have such a fundamental understanding of your subject matter and I am grateful to you for sharing it. It really helps me when I am learning to understand “why” things work rather than just accepting that they just do, and your videos go a great job of this. Hopefully I will be able to “un-hear” the lord of the rings from this song though as i still feel the “magic” every time I hear it 😂

I had "Zimmerman " German piano. When I started again to play when mother died. It was September,2, 2004. Since then I am playing on my keyboard. It's so painful for me when I hear someone speak by phone with his/her mother or father. I am writing these lines and my eyes are wet. Stay healthy!

Absolutely fascinating explanation of the chords and melody of the sonata. Just a question. In measures 27 and 28, when you refer to the "Adventure Chord", isn´t it a E mayor instead of a A major?
