Hey Deca, Listening for 3 years now. Found about you in Detox/rehab and there hasn't been a day where I don't enjoy your art. I've listened to you when friends die, when impossibly alone and struggling hard. You get it, your words bite to the bone and you've done the hustle. Now I get to listen to you at my fancy job, with my queen and during some of my biggest victories. I thank you sincerely for taking the time to do this. Meeting you in Denver was truly a pleasure, your show was the coolest shit ever. I mean the coolest shit ...... The coolest..... Shit. Bought Flux that night. I LOVE deca. He's an amazing artist, the extent of how poetic his lyrics are is ridiculous. People say they want this to blow up, yeah I wish it would..all mainstream rap sounds basically the same and has no substance. That's all that gets promoted. Sure, I know a lot of people that I've shown this to that appreciate it. But also take into consideration that there's a reason why music, especially rap, that inspires actual thought and emotion doesn't ever get as popular..the people who run the music industry don't want us to think differently, y'all. The promotion of shitty mumble rap and the like, I think, is a deliberate tool to keep people dumbed down. And now more than ever I doubt that will change
I only recently discovered deca, but got instantly hooked on his music and i am so hyped for the new album :) just wanted to say that you are an incredible musician (and artist) also please keep up the good work and continue to inspire the people you inspire :D with best regards from germany ;)
Someone at work played this man's song "Salome" and it was the beat that got me curious to look up buddy and I got hooked instantly! His flow is ILL and his beat choices are INSANE!!!!
Haven’t known Deca for much more than a year or so maybe. Unequaled lyricism and the exploration of themes is so refreshing. Reminds me of Eyedea, man..

I didn't think I could like another one of your songs more than Salome or Waiting. I was clearly wrong. And to boot the video is captivating to me. So personal, simple, Somehow touching. The friends and family... it all made made me smile. I never comment on RU-vid, and yet I took the time for this one.

I like that he says he doesnt write the words but they come through him. I read a graphic novel once called Promethea by Alan Moore who also felt that the writing was happening through him. I haven't experienced this personally, but find it fascinating.
I’ve been listening for a while and I actually learned about him through a faze video and I’m glad cuz he’s brilliant. The lyrics are genius and intelligent and his flow and skills are also amazing can’t wait till he gets big.

Dusty Damn why am i seeing this negativity from heads who listen to his album? Not only is it fantastic by each track telling a story in itself - but it also says it's Part 1 of a 2 Part album. I know what you mean, but try being a bit more open minded & patient for the next half

I’m more than sure, unsure, that you’ll come across this comment and think anything more than an eye roll could write a novel. I can not, not put this out anyways. For a moment of knowledge or the rest of existence, there’s a truth between you and I. I do not know what it is or for what reason (I don’t care to explore), I am more sure than the sun rises tomorrow, we have something to share to one another. Crazy, I’m sure of that.
