A Decan is a way of breaking down the qualities of each individual star sign by separating each one into thirds of ten degrees.
For each of these, there is a corresponding tarot card from the minor arcana and understanding what each decan speaks of energetically will greatly assist how we understand and interpret the cards

I am a Virgo, ascendant Virgo, 2nd decan, and my numerological DOB reduces to 9. I am the living Hermit & 9 of pentacles... u just described me... but I hate to be "chased"... I've never really resonated with my sun sign. My card would be the 8 of Pentacles, but I'm the opposite of that. My moon & rising signs are both sagittarius, and that feels way more like myself. It's very interesting though!
