I use this process too, minus the vice, with mitigated results. Sometimes it smells very bad.... I keep all the IC cases scraps for eventual future retrieval of the gold (or just selling them in bulk on ebay to let someone else deal with it). Finding a decent microscope at an affordable price is a whole other story.
@@SeanBZA Yes, but that doesn't help me, lets say my heat gun I have can get to 300C max and the one in the video can get to... IDK, 500C max I would like to know the temp used in the video.... @BG Tech? or if anyone else knows a good value, then do share :) also, too hot of a temperature can oxidize or ruin some stuff.....
