#MBVD_Tech #DomyosEL520 #Decathlon #Crosstrainer The first serious problem, which I have face with Decathlon Domyos EL 520 crosstrainer after more than 2 years heavy use.
I've got one of these machines and I absolutely love it. Decathlon support has been great too. Mine arrived with a missing floor level adjuster and Decathlon gave me a new unit and delivered it fully assembled.
Another problem with the 520, at least for me, is the hand grip bars at the bottom bend hits my knees. This part design is poor for people who are tall.
Hi MBVD, Thanks for your vid. I want to buy this for my mom as a home exercise tool. What's the difference between 520 & 500? They said 520 is self powered, yet I don't know what's that supposed to mean.. can you help?
Hey, self powered means that it does not require external power supply. Display turns on, when you are starting a workout. Your movement is converted to energy for display :)
Good to know that we should take 5 years warranty, otherwise... 😕 Other than this, no other problem ? Satisfied with the product itself other the time ? I'm considering purchasing it. Cheers and thanks for the review video.
@@MBVDChannel I do have an older cross-trainer and this thing makes quite some noises from parts rubbing against each other. I could try to fix it, but, well, my motivation... I am currently looking to replace my current and 7-year-old cross-trainer with a new one. Does the Domyos EL520 make some noises due to parts rubbing against each other?
@@akrammaad7609 I bought the Domyos EL520 in August this year. Compared to my previous cross-trainer (from another brand and it was also damaged at the rear left foot -> metal thread broke) it is almost silent. The noises it makes, aren't loud and not annoying at all... You could train on it, while not having ear buds to listen to music etc. 10/10 recommendation from me. What the long term experience will be? I dont know. I hope, it will be positive!
@@Drehzahlorgel thanks for the very quick replay, i live in a condo and the floor is made of wood while i have a neighbor below ( kind of floor that when you walk your neighbor hears your footsteps) . What i meant also was the noise and the vibrations. If i would to train with this casually, do you think my neighbor below would hear the machine like doing some sort of strong vibrations or is it stable
