I thinks it’s a good crazy; the OST is fire, it has good detail, and isn’t an unfair map difficulty-wise. The only thing wrong with it is the lag it can cause on mobile devices and other low-end technology.. which was originally fixed, but then ELiTe made it laggy again
It is unfair when it comes to chaos servers, but it was always broken when it came to chaos, imo a mix between the old and the new rocket launch would've been perfect imo.
Honestly it's my favourite map, I like how strict it is on solo, how shortcuts get patched, the OST really is a banger and syncs perfectly, the transition to the second drop is fire, the part after funnily enough syncs with the song (y'know, after the first tower, there's this part where u gotta wraparound, slide, press buttons, bring down the lava, jump, wall jump, etc... That syncs with the little melody it has in that part due to many different activities). I like the use of ziplines a lot, wall jumps too, the fact that the tower gives you some time to sight read it and all. But I agree, sometimes it's pretty laggy and that's kind of ruining the map. Seriously though, lag is proof of many scripts and decoration used. It's not bad, it's just annoying at times I believe.
I'm glad you have a similar thoughts as me, like gameplay and lag. I thought version one was best and version 2 - eh. Version 3 nah. The new ost update made the piano more hear able. Its note sequence is just too silly imo. It made me bang my head against the wall, not because it was bad, but it triggered something in my head. Anyways great video and I hoped your brain decayed as much as I did.

i honsetly just like blue moon and Posinos chams they were both my favorite crazy map classic taste to em and good music before i left for a very long time and now people look down at them cuz their "Too easy" bro its nothing wrong whit that u dont have to like the most difficult map as long ur having fun easy or crazy it dosent matter i generally dont like the new crazy map espacilly decaying winter and Ignis Peaks like the new amont of crazy map makes all other maps seem well garbage cause their to easy i have fun whit em cause they good looking but its just my opinion
i personally think silo is fine. yeah the gameplay is yet to be desired. but the main problem i have is the lag as you said. given how roblox handles inputs makes silo pretty much unplayable with inputs not registering. if it gets updated next week with only optimization fixes. then i’d think it’ll be a lot better
It just really dissapoints me before decaying silo even though it was a low crazy most people still enjoyed it and it was fun but now not only is it a high crazy it’s not fun anymore and is just super hard instead even though it’s like active where it’s super hard active volcanic mines it’s atleast still fun being the hardest map in the game but decaying silo just really annoying now
I would eventually want to make a video on updates that were disappointing to players including decaying silo. Now don't get me wrong DS is a really good, detailed map no disrespect to maxi at all, but the way how the map was getting multiple buffs kinda ruined the map. It could've just stayed how it was except for a couple minor buffs tbh.
I think the first buff it got was deserved: it mainly polished the map and removed OP shortcuts. But the second buff was just stupid. The buff was completely unnecessary and just made it more confusing, and it made the second button grouped (WHY?). The ingame version as of now feels a bit better, but I would rather it just stayed how it was after it's first buff.
I totally agree with the lag thing, i play on xbox and i thought it was just because my xbox is bad but that was because as you explained, OBS doesnt pick it up. I had to play the entire game on low graphics- completely ruining the immersion just to beat 1 map since when you are in a pro server, all anyone ever selects is AVM and DS. Amphibious billow deserved that spot
In my opinion,I think silo isnt that bad,its just because of the 2nd buff,Also i dont really mind the patches of shortcuts BUT a 3rd buff really makes it go into the deleted crazies mainly because of its 3rd buff.

silo itself is actually quite an interesting map with a unique theme not executed before. the execution of silo was quite nice but the follow up is like the worst fall I've ever seen for a map 1. the optimization is just the worst thing ever i have more fps on nos astra than a map that doesn't even look hyperdetailed in any way 2. the amount of unnecessary updates the map got every 5 seconds just straight up resetting the muscle memory of everyone 3. the lack of playtesting like bro you know you fucked the playtesting up when the most obvious and op shortcut manages to slip into the main game undetected. plus it feels like the map was playtested on multiplayer cuz playing it on solo is just the most atrocious experience ever really sad to see such an interesting map bring its downfall tl;dr : og version 🔥 the follow up sucks should've let mar solo who let elite cook ps: asking others to "get good" doesn't prove that you are right nor disprove the other's opinion like get an actual good counter argument jesus

I think Crazyblox chose Decaying Silo as permanent over Amphibious Billow because of the interesting theme, consistent gameplay, and good pacing, don’t get me wrong, Amphibious Billow is great, but the pacing of the map is very slow and confusing, which is why Decaying Silo was added.
I'm heavily convinced that the devs have been trying everything to make DS the hardest map in the game. Goes to show what map makers care about these days.

Even though Amphibious Billow wasn’t added, i’m sure Crazyblox will probably come back to it and maybe put it in, Because it totally deserved to be added imo.
Maps like skyworks could have the potiential of bring permanent but nope, just decaying silo, how dissapointing, i dont like decaying silo in my opinion, the details and music of the map is fine, but, its too laggy and voted too much

People don’t like this map?! I love it. It has great music and is super intense, which is what I like about maps. AVM is still my favorite in game, and I know others likely deserved to be added over it, but it’s still good.
My opinions on this map have gotten worse since I posted this video. Think about it, decaying silo uses the same theme the whole way through, the same copy pasted platforms. You don’t go anywhere. The OST is a complete mess and has no direction. And the pacing is horrible for the map and makes it not fun at all (unlike AVM where the pacing is justified). As of right now, decaying silo is my least favorite map in flood escape 2.

It depends on if you have fun doing it and if you can bring something new to the table. Like I think the only reason why I’m successful is because I bring content that no other YT channels do. Just as Long as you have fun then I say yeah go for it!

This map feels too fan-made visually for my liking, and not in a good way. It doesn't look as visually interesting as Blue Moon or Poisonous Chasm for me.
