i recently found this game through RU-vid and when i tell you it looks amazing I mean it, everything looks outstanding, the voice lines are wonderful so far and the map and the combat, the way the npc that use guns will actually try to keep themselves alive hiding behind the walls makes combat much more fun and harder, I don't know if this is like a free roam game and you just scavenge for supplies or you make a lobby, but overall ill 100% be playing it when it comes out if it's not cancelled.
If any new mechanics get added, I hope that there's a downed state for players who survive shots that aren't headshots and scav guns being usable but highly likely to jam making it to where the only worth it has is as a last resort weapon. I also kind of hope that there's more than one base because it would be a waste to just have a big map and not use it
The jam thing sounds odd and cheap, they could add durability to all things, and found weapons like scav drops have significantly lower durability, and crafted weapons of course have the max
Ok the AI looks amazing,animations,modeling,sound effects but for me the parrying looks a bit janky and very spamable having almost no cooldown like the parry is almost useless. But what i love is the details in the game like when the scav pulled the trigger while he was shooting and when he died he was still shooting for a 1-2 seconds thats just amazing detail.
The Parrying system is probably not fully polished because it look janky and weird, but tbf it will be improved since we only see Tact using Mil Axe as his test melee weapon (which mean that he hadn't finished making the melee system) Also I do like the trigger pull detail too, imagine if it actually can kill
2:19 This one really made me think, that symbol could mean that theres multiple factions on scavengers and that could be a disguise/armor to get in a base without being shot at
That is actually the Apex Predator logo from Titanfall 2, and I don't think this game's devs would add a reference to that. It's likely just a placeholder of some sort, although maybe it could actually be the faction itself from Titanfall.
That's the symbol of the Death Squad, or atleast that's what i think, in avery game where they appear their helmets have that symbol so am guessing that's their symbol
its Death Squad (Ulacyon) logo. theres lore about them in UMG and Decaying Winter they appear in 4 versions (maybe 5 or 3) green red white (maybe blue i dont remember) and the boss.
i dont think so ,it still need perks, traits, different map areas and interaction npc about the mission and some bosses btw this project is being paused
what im worried about is the animations and the new parry system cuz the animations some are fine but the death animations and attack animations atleast for the pickaxe scav is horrible the new parry mechanics seems very wierd having to parry multiple times to stun but that could just be to demonstrate

no way, because 2 reason, control inside the game is a lot, like parry, light attack, heavy attack, shove, and the 2nd reason is decaying winter is a heavy game for low end mobile devicd
@@marcothompson13 We really do not care how many buttons there'll be on the screen. We'll adapt and find our own ways to master it somehow. It's only the FPS that's going to be problematic.
To be honest I wish this game can be added An open world decaying winter Its just pretty awesome to play A pve open world Also can be a pvp open world Different servers of pvp and pve
I will hate to play this on mobile you might lose every enemy encounter if you are not skilled enough to move your camera run shoot at the sametime if its possible you might miss like 30% of all the mechanics due to the fact that theres too many controls for a mobile phone to support and if it somehow does get a mobile support 50% of your screen is just buttons and also it will not run smoothly the best is either 30-45 fps
@@Ravenn50 This is the easiest thing in the world for those who have been playing for a long time, if there is a system to adjust the hud, even better, the only problem will be the fps
if decaying world ever comes out i think my computer will just fry itself,because i cant even run decaying winter with 1 graphic without it disconnecting
He could definitely work on the melee system. It’s too quick and the attacks don’t have any weight to them. Otherwise, this is looking pretty promising.
