Vertical open well submersible pump's are better suited. I think 5HP to 7.5HP motor suits your requirement. consult with good electrician for better motor....

motor selection depends on power supply available also. i have 5HP service connection so i have no choice. But you can choose. i always recommend higher HP. more power more output and performance. if you buy 7.5HP motor means you can use big 2" springers in your field. you can irrigate large area of field in quick time etc. future extension also possible.

yes. motor can drive water but water output will be low and pressure will be low. Chances of motor failure possible. you have to use check valve at motor side. air pressure valves at suitable position. I recommend 7.5 HP motor or higher Hp... thanks...
