Thank you for all of your knowledge. I'm a single female with a 2013 Turbo Diesel X-Trail. Although I do not concor a lot of highly difficult terrain, your advice has definitely become a saving grace when I do hit dirt. So thank you!

I once crossed a dry, soft, sandy riverbed, and up a bed of eroded rock on the other side that people said was impossible to drive across.They have not stopped talking about it since.Too bad I never recorded it.

Hi, nice vid! I'm being gifted a high Ks one of these from my parents, due to them no longer requiring it. I'm planning to do it up for some off-roading/camping, and I'm just wondering does yours have a bash plate fitted? And if so, where did you source it from?

Brilliant family car had mine a year and a half (t31 tecna )as a daylie driver drive two hours everyday commuting Not done any off roading but its nice to know the ability is there if you need it no worries with snow mud or standing water on the roads Tempted to buy an older t30 to modify and go green laneing Wish there were more upgrade parts avaliable for them

You actually can but I highly recommend you get at least 30mm lift. Also, take note that the tyre will rub at full steering lock

It is reasonably safe. However, if safety is your priority, then obviously the newer the vehicle the safer it is. Generally speaking anyway. To answer your question, yes it is reasonably safe. There are vehicles in its same age and class that are less safe.

Xc90 is safer compared to the t30 for sure. Reliability, maintenance cost and overall practicality, t30 is better in my opinion.

Not really. Just standard upgrades like lifted suspension, bigger tyres and underbody protection.

If your budget only allows for this class vehicle and if you dont need to take it to really rough terrain then this vehicle will do.

@@ruggedlife I need a car 70% of the city, the rest is easy off-road! The car is not older than 2003. The volume of the cabin and trunk is the same. Toyota Rav4 and Suzuki Escudo more expensive
