My husband is a car guy and has a sports car paid for in cash and every upgrade is also paid for in cash. I don’t think it’s necessarily a poverty mentality to recognize having that much money and interest tied to a depreciating asset is wild. Many people are not willing to part with their cars especially if their identity and emotions are wrapped up in them. I think the disconnect here is that people have a hard time understanding why you would want to prolong the financial struggle to keep the vehicle. Doesn’t matter to me personally but I think that is where some of your subscribers are coming from. Good luck 😊

It is so nice to see someone with real numbers. I have debt close to what you have. Our total debt is $289,723. Approximately $195,000 is my mortgage.

I do agree I wish there was a bill tracker in there. It would be nice if it was optional to have a bill tracker for every month too in case it changes.

I think not having a poverty mindset is a good thing. Being realistic about your path forward doesn't mean you have to take on a mindset that isn't moving you into the abundance you want to have. Words matter.

Hi Janet, Been there! Call it a failed business adventure will a valuable life lesson learned. Close the book on it and move forward. Don't let it creep in and affect your relationship with your husband. New Year, New Page! Be consistent, and you will be amazed when you re-watch this video a year from now. Good luck to you.

if you truly want to protect your assets, put your house in the LLC supper from the business that way if your husband’s business ever gets sued or he has to sell it for collateral or whatever nobody can come out the house same thing with anything else you have valuable put everything in a separate LLC it’s own LLC

Hi Janet, I found you channel today and subscribed. It takes alot of courage to share those stories. I struggled with debt so many times. I finally stopped the cycle when i got a debt consolidation loan at my credit union and the made me close my credit cards. I will be i interested to follow you on your journey, while i continue to pay off the rest of my debt too!

Hi, first video of yours I've watched so you might have answered this previously.... if your house has doubled in value, could you increase the mortgage and pay off all the other debt you have? That way you would have one loan and remove the ones with high interest? And then cut the credit cards....

I haven’t looked into this. I’m hesitant about moving debt but would help with the high interest.
