Friendly reminder that you should not lock the lid to your crockpot while cooking. Locking those latches during cooking might build up pressure and might cause the lid to shatter or even cause the stoneware to break.

Merry Christmas! Your family looks so sweet. You have so many ideas and love the Christmas bucket list. Me and my husband took our children Christmas light looking when they were young and we enjoyed it so much, we still go now in our 60's.

Kailyn... Do you have to cook in plastic bag in crockpot? Plastic leeches into food when heated.

To put it a bit nicer lol, the cooking bags may save cleanup time but their are many chemicals used in those plastic bags ( full disclosure, I’m not a tree hugger) but plastic, food cooking for hours… No….. Just spray your crock pot insert with a non propellant food spray or use a misto. The bags really aren’t good for the food you eat.
