Things are moving along at Sugarwood with both Christmas decorations and the kitchen demo for the remodel. Here is my December diary entry #2. This is not quite a Vlogmas of every day posting, but it will be as much as possible. I hope you enjoy!

I am amazed at how you keep calm and organized with everything that is happening in your house along with the Christmas holidays. (all is beautiful) There aren't enough of those red coffee cups made that would do it for me. I have probably said this before but I luv, luv, luv your videos. No matter how much chaos ensues with your projects, they are very calming and enjoyable for me! Can't wait for the next one!

I totally agree with you about your books. I have been horrified for years that decor of our bookshelves was treated as more important than organizing books so that they’re easy to find . Yes, make them as attractive as possible as long as you can access them. Nothing wrong with adding small pieces of sculpture or other meaningful objects. Buying a book for color or for a craft is one thing but don’t mess with books I use! I do admire your patience though. Oh, that I could be as long suffering!

I’d be crawling the walls if someone rearranged our vast library. All 5,000 books are in order by category. Fiction, for example is also arranged by author. Biographies by person. Etc. You’re a good egg to sit and watch given your OCD. By the way, we have a woodland tree in our library as well.

I love books and have them sorted by authors and subject. My granddaughter decided to color block my books. It looked pretty, but it took me quite some time to put than back in order! You got to laugh because we love our daughters and granddaughters…o well 🤪🤣💕

Makes me cringe when good cabinets are demolished on home shows etc., many people would be grateful for them. Thank you for recycling. Also, do you know if a source for glass globes similar to the one on your tall candlestick with the plaid ribbon? Thanks ylfir ant info you may have. Dear Linda, Thank you for taking us along on your renovating and redecorating journey. After moving to southern North Carolina from MA over 10 years ago I find this time of year I really miss having so much fresh greens around to use and decorate with. Yes, I was missing a whole box of fox, mice, and other felt animals that I collected since I was a child. What you saw on this tree were gifted last year by followers and ones that I purchased at stores for the tree.

On the topic of wreath storage, one wall of my garage is loaded with my seasonal collection, stored hanging on huge nails under dry cleaner bags. Refluffing is reduced to a minimum. Your library reorganization helper reminds me of the "logical" places my daughter hides my kitchenware putting things away at Thanksgiving & Christmas

I absolutely love the library tree! The woodland animals are adorable. Do you have a Willow ornament? She would look great on this tree. I had an arthrogram on my right shoulder yesterday, and, as I suspected, I do have a large tear in the rotator cuff. So I know how I’ll be spending the first part of the new year. It’s almost a relief, though, because at least it’s something that can be fixed. I’m getting so excited to see your next video! 🎄✨

Exciting as always to see the changes. I noticed Willow appears to be darker in color, almost grey. Perhaps it was just the lighting. Just wondering as one of mine was the same color beige/caramel.
