It seems like December is often too late to release a game if you want to get a lot of Christmas sales, so I can see why they would back off a little bit this month! It's a great time for DLCs though.
Just want to chime in to say you’re doing an amazing job Josh and I love your channel! There are so many farming sims these days and your channel helps me understand the strengths of each one
I want to thank you Josh. Through your videos over the last few months, I've expanded my wishlist on Steam and learned about games I've never heard of but enjoy so much. Example: I really hope Palia does get a Switch port. I was able to play the Closed Beta for 1 day before my laptop's graphics driver decided it was not going to cooperate. Since I'm far off from affording a new laptop or even a desktop, a Switch port is my dream for Palia. Even if I can't play it in December, I'll wait as long as it takes cause that game was so much fun!
I did not even know SteamWorld Build is already out! Thanks for the info on this, Josh! I played tons of SW Dig on my 3DS and a few hours of SW Quest for the switch! Excited for SW Build and Fashion Dreamer the most!!!
The Fashion Dreamer and Fae Farm updates and DLC sound amazing, and make me glad I have physical copies for both! One of my late grandmother's simply loved and adored frogs as her favorite animals, I wish she was alive to see the Croakia Coast update...methinks she would've been smitten!
I'm pretty interested in Steamworld Build; it looks like it could be a satisfying town builder. I haven't heard of While the Iron's Hot, but I like the art!
Super excited to play Steamworld Build soon, still trying to keep up with my backlog and ngl Cyberpunk 2077 has been keeping me occupied and away from cozy games haha
I would love to play Eastward: Octopia but have enough cozy games to play right now that I'll probably be playing my backlog still whenever it does release.
I'm going to be in trouble...because Fae Farm's DLC drops the same day as the Indigo Disk DLC for Pokemon Scarlet/Violet! Hope everyone enjoys the new DLC coming out for their games!
Awww that Cat fishing game is so up my ally! One of my fav gimmicks in farming sims (or any sim in general) is fishing. Maybe it's because it's a lot more enjoyable and I can actually catch fish because the real deal is a lot harder (and time consuming, you can spend hours fishing and not catch a thing or the fish steal your bait lol). You know as much as I am looking forward to Palia coming to the Switch, if it does get delayed, I won't mind since I already has so much on my plate atm (from games to reality to internet stuff in general) lol. So the Wholesome Snack does come on before the Game Awards? The awards take priority but I would love to watch both since I really enjoyed this past Summer's wholesome direct. Hopefully a few games I am interested in will show up like Fields of Mistra (sp?).
For Wholesome Snack showcase, I am hoping for Snacko to launch the EA release date, it said they finished the main story already and plan for EA and at least full launch in 2024. I was excited for Eastward Dlc but then found out I need to get the base game + dlc to play it and I would have to play as a guy so that's a pass for me now but I'm excited to see you stream it! DDV Dlc, I'm holding off for now but I'll probably get it sometime next year. Fashion Dreamers has me MOST excited and Fae Farm promotion period for the Dlc has been a bit lack luster for me so I don't feel excited for it, hoping for an actual trailer during Wholesome Snack maybe?? Just feels like there's barely any info with 2 weeks left before it drops, it'll be free for me anyways but I'm not understanding what's exactly coming yet. Dec is a pretty busy month with Christmas anyways so I'm glad there's not like a big release for a new farming game for me.. yet.
Wait....ur gonna pass on 1 of the best indie games .....because u have to be a guy? That sounds incredibly ignorant. Just saying.....eastward is a amazing game. Pretty shallow reason to turn ur nose up at it. No?
I don't think it's ignorant at all that I want to play as a female character in games that I purchase with my own money. I have never heard of Eastward until the farming dlc announcement either and I have many other games in my backlog waiting to be played so I'll be catching up on those and I'm excited to see Josh play it but personally I will not be playing it when I have 20+ games to choose from. It is my own preference when I play games that I would either like the protagonist to be female or to customize my character, it has nothing to do with what you think of.
@@Asunnixe It isn't shallow/ignorant! Most of the time when you play games, you want to connect with the character you're playing as. I did not play Wylde Flowers simply because I could not relate with the female MC (Tara). There is nothing wrong with preferences and I agree with you 100%
Why is Dec 5th so packed? Will barely have any time in the day to play any of these because they're all fighting each other 😂 but honestly glad we got the month off. Lots of farming sims to catch up on and hopefully finish
