@Stoprunnin542 That's the point of his character in the comics, he's crazy. And unhinged, if you really think that in a situation of an apocalypse where there's no laws that some evil people wouldn't r*pe/murder people for their own gain, you're extremely naive.
@@masterofdisguise1112 u don't think i know that? That wasnt the point anybody pointed out the point was u said gov was better in the comics and thats not true because the apocalypse was the main cause of everything and everyone to go crazy especially the govenor but there was really no character or character development in the comic counterpart whereas we have that in the show being an automatic psycho does not in anyway make him better than his tv counterpart
@Stoprunnin542 Right off the bat, he cuts off the main character's arm. And then does some horrible stuff to Machon. I don't care if he doesn't have an arc. That's not the point of his character. He's supposed to be an antagonist that the group is working to take down and defeat. And just because a character has an arc doesn't make them any better or any worse than other characters. You can have a one-note character that doesn't change. And they can still be better than other characters that have "arc's"
@Stoprunnin542 The governor in the TV show just never intimidating to me. He's way too goofy, they literally refer to him. As a "John Wayne type." lol bro. If you read the comics, he's crazy scary. He does way more damage to the group and kills off wayyy more main characters! and has way more of an impact on the story. Then the tv show governor.
