When I went to my local VCA store, I was totally with the intent to purchase the MOP. That being said, I tried on the Onyx and omg, it totally popped on my skin tone, my husband and SA both agreed that they preferred it much more than the MOP. I ended up going with the onyx but you cannot go wrong with any other piece from these two houses. My yellow gold love bracelet alongside my onyx Alhambra is such a wow factor, I feel like an edgy princess everytime I wear it. Great video, cheers!
Great comparison! I have owned the VCA Alhambra in MOP and it is beautiful but unfortunately I only found myself wearing it for special occasions and so I decided to sell it and get the Cartier love instead. I really wanted something that I could wear everyday and dress up or down and also not worry about damaging, especially when you are spending the $$$$ for it. That being said the VCA Alhambra line is my absolute favorite and there are days I really miss the Alhambra 5-motif bracelet. TFS!
I just bought the VCA five motif Alahambra in yellow gold. I love. Just the metal in sunlight is gorgeous. I wear it all the time! You should check into the gold ones.
If I have to buy a VCA bracelet with stones, I would go with the red stone or black onyx. They are easy to take care of. After comparing the two brands, I got the standard love bracelet and love it. It’s such a substantial piece.
I agree with not picking the VCA in mother of pearl, however, there’s a version of this alhambra 5- mottif that’s in gold and that is actually what I got over cartier. The gold version makes it good for daily use and it’s very dainty and elegant.
Almost bought the VCA last year. If I’m honest, I’d still love to try it on. From buying a dupe I’ve thought it was beautiful but too ornate. Do the prints get caught on your hair or snag on things ever? I do agree the small love is more substantial and hard wearing when comparing all three. They are all so beautiful though!! You always kill it with the jewelry close ups 🤩🤩🤩

Luckily chanced upon a very good deal in the preloved market. Now saving up for the love regular. But i also want the vca guilloche 😅 Your videos are so informative!!!!❤

I prefer the Alhambra design for pendants or rings, I think it is easier to take care of the stones with this format, they are less likely to break💎 Also, do you have some Boucheron's creations? Definitely the small JUC as a starter piece, though I am still a little apprehensive about wearing it all the time - not my usual behaviour with bracelets lol. But I totally understand about the risk of frequently twisting it to remove. VCA is pretty and very feminine but more of a special occasion piece to me. Not something I would see myself wearing daily to work.
@@ImenBen12 mine is the thin version bracelet, it works really well on me and I almost wear it every day plus I also hv the thin version Juste un clou ring, it kind of digs into the finger but I get use to it so it wont bother me.

I am just starting my jewelry collection and my plan is to invest in the sweet alhambra collection (bracelet, earrings, necklace) in Carnelian .. the 5 motifs bracelet in Guilloché is very beautiful as well. I am also planning to get the Love bracelet in small both yellow gold and white for stacking. And the Love earrings 😍 cute for daily use. JUC bracelet is a maybe, the only one I really liked is in the small size with diamonds. But I'm not 100% on board yet. A Febergé ruby ring is also in plans 🤤 This is a three to four years purchase plan 🙂 life comes first 🤣

I just got the thin juc diamonds and my next piece will be 5 motif VCA MOP. I tried it on and it’s beautiful. It goes so well with my juc. I’m still waiting for my husband to get me the love bracelet. Lol And the rose gold 5 motifs is also on my wishlist . 🙈
IMO the solid gold pieces are pretty, and more durable than the ones with the stones, but I think they don't get talked about as much because most people probably see the MOP or stone versions and fall in love with the color/style and they simply forget that there are solid gold pieces too. Personally, I would love the gold and diamond ones, but that is on my wish list...
I shopped VCA domestic and internationally and Cartier in states and to me between the two, I felt the VCA craftsmanship is wroth more of its costs, because the peices are mostly hand crafted, yes some pre machine stamps for the stones but they are put together manually. Each stone is unique. Even the same color. If you see many of the same stone, they actually very unique. Vs the love bracelet it seems mostly machine made . In terms of popularity and market, I do feel the love bracelet has the win. Again, when you pay around $7k for a bracelet and gold worth is less than $2k worth, that's like $5k markup because of a brand. So Cartier to me has great marketing. However, durability as you said is Cartier as well. I prefer my wife wear what is brought more and not be 'afraid' to wear like the VCA peices. Like these you won't wear with young kids, gym etc. Personally, for me, I think I still prefer VCA. But I see the pro in Cartier as well. So I guess at least one of each right? haha. Pick9ng between one, I know my wife would say, it's like picking one favorite of our kids. Buy what you enjoy I would say.

I have the original love bracelet in white gold, do you know if white gold tends to turn grey after a few years. Also it was a gift or like a hand me down to me it is stamped inside the bracelet 1993, I don’t see much bracelet stamped with year codes. Can you help me find some information on this?
Hi Elisa, i haven't owned a white gold piece yet so it is hard to tell how it wears. The best way to see about your hand-me-down bracelet is to bring it to a boutique to request a service, they're able to give you more info on the bracelet as to the different version of stampings 😊
