do we have to write .001 with the dot? I know this is a stupid question but why not. And for converting 0.125 to Binary do we keep multiplying by 2 until we get 1 and stop there??
Yes , you have to write the dot otherwise it will represent 1 in binary and the second answer is you have to multiply untill you get 1 before the dot(point), Like for 0.0625 the binary form will be 0.0001
@@malihakarim1696 yes until you get 1 but generally 3 or 4 digits are taken ,like you you want to write 5.548766618 ,you may write 5.55 in binary that also same 1.0010100 can be written as 1.001
