The political leanings of the judges shouldn't have anything to do with such a decision when it comes to the legal obligation of respecting our right to defend ourselves. And, cities and townships shouldn't be allowed to press charges for discharging a firearm upon defending ourselves.
We dont want to make it to easy for victims to defend themself because it can open the door for criminals to take advantage of the law. If that is the case then why do we have qualified immunity for police officers isnt that allowing bad officers to take advantage of the law?
