The one on the left sounds more clear but the other one has a much deeper sound. I actually like both but for different reasons. They compliment each other.
Striking clock that only count the hours on single dome shaped bell, coiled wire gong or chiming rod at the top of each hour and do not strike at the bottom of the hour can be called as hourly alarm clock because it makes alert of time at every hour by sound. Striking clock that also strikes one time at the bottom of the hour in addition with counting the hours at the top of each hour can be called as half hour alarm clock because it makes alert of time at every hour and half past hour. Quarter chiming clock can be called as quarter hour alarm clock because it makes alert of time at every quarter hour.
Congrats on almost reaching 50k!! Did that massive box of clock parts come with pendulums and stuff? If yes, then a ton of stuff could be repaired in the shop. I wonder if the box came with cuckoo clock parts.
The first one sounds better, but the strike on both of em sounds off. There’s a B flat note in the chord that’s throwing in some unintended disssonance.
I vote for the Dark wood Hamilton because it sounds more smoother than the light wood Hamilton. It looks like HM Regulator has the out of beat issue again because it stopped.
