It’s so funny you use She Wolfe as a minimalist deck because for me it’s maximum deck. And I use my white sage as my daytime deck. 😂 Granted I don’t have many decks at all.
I love my Dreamkeepers! For me it's a deep and thought provoking deck and if I want tap into ancestral energy this is the deck I reach for. Add the Vintage Wisdom Oracle to it and the readings are amazing.
I really like how you focused each question. I was thinking that the Wandering Star and Tarot of the Crone looked really good together right before you mentioned it! They do pair together beautifully. Thanks for sharing 💛
Great perspectives Dawn. I was particularly interested in your choices for daytime and nighttime use because i struggled with that question (playing along at home) and i couldnt work out the intention whether it would be aesthetics of night or when you would use a deck at night time. Marlene said it could be whatever we felt. So i dont specifically use any particular decks ar night so chose an aesthetically dark deck with muted night time hues. I really liked your decision for calming and soothing energy at night before going to bed. Thanks for the video
This was great! I like how you changed it just a bit to fit your collection. I really enjoyed seeing all of your tarot extreme choices. This was an outstanding idea for a tag and so much fun to do. Thank you for sharing beautiful lady. 🌞
Really enjoyed this video. I really liked how you did some categories of your collection for each prompt. I decided that I'm going to do a Tarot version VR and a separate Oracle version VR to this hashtag. How you interpreted Over-rated and Under-Rated is kinda how I ended up interpreting that prompt. I don't really have, get, or keep decks that I feel are Over-rated. So my choices for when I do my VR (still planning it out) are more along the lines of Over Exposed and Under Exposed. 😊 I've been considering the Lantern Oracle. I think this video cemented that I want to go ahead and get it.
The best best and worst shuffle reminds me of my tarot oracle pair The Pacific Northwest Tarot and the Nocturna Oracle. I love pairing the two together because the art styles contrast beautifully while still having similar energy, but the PNW tarot has cardstock similar to the Brady tarot. I can overhand shuffle ok but no bridging, and it's pretty thick but not unusable. The Nocturna Oracle has such nice linen card stock though and shuffles so nicely.
Ok you might have talked me into finally purchasing the Dreamkeeper's Tarot! That said I have to defend my Soul deck, Moonchild Tarot, and say that there is most definitely reason for a lot of the imagery in the cards. The flowers in Temperance, to paraphrase Danielle Noel, is to remind us to live in grace (not extremes like the tag lol) and to "smell the roses". And the "Knight of Swords" you were looking at was actually the King of Swords. The King is simplified, true, but to me it's an unfair comparison to the Knight in Dreamkeeper's Tarot especially when the Moonchild version has as much going on in the imagery. Not to mention the guidebook's wealth of information, the inquiries, the astrological and gemstone correspondences in the majors, the lunar magic rituals. So apologies for the slight rant 🙏🥺 I just feel very strongly about my Moonchild!
Oh no worries, I totally love the Moonchild too and the guidebook is fantastic! I wasn’t trying to knock the deck, it’s one of my favorites and a permanent part of my collection. 💚
Ooh, I love this tag and wanna do it once I get my jet-lagged act together! ☺️ Meanwhile, I appreciate the different lenses you applied, and ditto re: Moonchild-I love that deck and would never get rid of it, yet I think your observations nail why I don’t use it more than I do (which is really only once a month for full-moon readings). Anywho, loved your choices and rationales here! 🖤
I have the Brady Tarot and it's a miserable cardstock. It's a shame because it could be a great deck. I have it but never have used it because it's so difficult
