NO WAY literally last night I was at the Brixton O2 and he started his set with an a Capella With A Little Help From My Friends, was honestly the most hype of the entire concert
I remember walking past Declan at Reading Festival in 2014 - I think Brazil had about 10-15k views back then? I was too shy too approach him at the time but it's so cool to see him now playing the main stage after once just being a festival goer!!
@@ddraigairhead4187 genuinely curious is there actually people who don't like my house? everyone i've played that for has loved it and theyre not even declan fans
i discovered this song in early 2022 and its been my absolute favorite ever since. i never got sick of it. my whole family has heard it so much now that they all known the lyrics. my parents, sisters, cousin, and i are seeing declan mckenna live in detroit mi this october and i can’t wait to hear my favorite song ever live.
@@antoniellecastro8435 talvez pra quem é herdeiro, ou já tinha uma boa quantia de dinheiro antes desse presidente merda esteja sim, mas pra o brasileiro médio e pobre? ta tudo ruim.
this song means so much to me man i just start crying when i hear it sometimes. its one of the songs that i have to see live before i die or else like, i literally just will refuse to die
I heard you sold the Amazon To show the country that you're from Is where the world should want to be For a fine something all people need I'm faithless now Though we win every time and I don't know how 'Cause I haven't bought you and I haven't sold me But the people are dying to, to get on TV [Chorus] I heard he lives down a river somewhere With six cars and a grizzly bear He got eyes, but he can't see Well, he talks like an angel, but he looks like me [Verse 2] Oh, Lord! What have I become? I'm the face of God, I'm my father's son I'm not what you think you see I know you can't eat leather, but you can't stop me Why would you lie, why would you lie about how you feel? I've got a mission and my mission is real Because you've had your chances, yeah, you've had enough I'm gonna burn your house down to spread peace and love And it gets me down Oh, Lord, how it gets me down [Chorus] I heard he lives down a river somewhere With six cars and a grizzly bear He got eyes, but he can't see Well, he talks like an angel, but he looks like me Oh, Lord! Oh, Lord! [Bridge] I wanna play the beautiful game while I'm in Brazil 'Cause everybody plays the beautiful game while out in Brazil 'Cause it's all you've ever wanted, and it's all that you want still Don't you wanna play the beautiful game out in Brazil? I wanna play the beautiful game while I'm in Brazil 'Cause everybody plays the beautiful game while out in Brazil It's all you've ever wanted, and it's all that you want still Don't you wanna play the beautiful game out in Brazil? (Oh yeah!) [Chorus] I heard he lives down a river somewhere With six cars and a grizzly bear He got eyes, but he can't see Well, he talks like an angel, but he looks like me I heard he lives down a river somewhere With six cars and a grizzly bear He got eyes, but he can't see Well, he talks like an angel, but he looks like me
I saw him play this at Leeds and Sam Fender came out to play it with him. Such a shame they don't show anything from Leeds as this was such an ace moment that I'll remember watching for all my life.
Essa música me lembra de tudo que acontece aqui no Brasil, política, futebol, questões ambientais, me da um clima de copa/eleição (acontecem no mesmo ano aqui).
