@@manamitsuki3851 Isn't that what makes him special ? I think his play style is more like a text book volleyball, basic and contains variety to adapt to any situations, even kageyama learned how to serve and block just by watching him, I Bet he would make the best coach .

That’s not true. He was better then Kageyama but his team wasn’t. Karasuno had overall better team but the better setter was still Oikawa

@@ANKAMedien He injured his knee from over practicing. We never saw him play with two good knees. Edit: (So apparently I was wrong and was an ankle injury, when he arrived late to the practice game with Karasuno, guess I have been on AO3 reading fanfics for waaaay to long. Then again Haikyuu fandom wiki doesn't go into any injury as well even though they mention all over practicing he does. And that Seijoh takes Mondays off from practicing. It's like the debate with Reborn's from KHR real name being Renato Sinclair and accepted as Renato but is just the fandom name for him that blew up huge. So i guess the knee injury is fanon that canon never proofed as right or wrong besides that one ankle injury sentence.

Oikawa doesn't actually have any injury in canon. He is wearing what could be a knee pad and that could be used as a preventative measure to protect the knee. the author does not mention any injury to oikawa's knee.

As an overall player oikawa Is Better. He Is taller, Better spiker, Better blocker, Better server, he Is smarter and has a Better sense of the game having refined Is instinct as much as possible. But kageyama surpassed him as a setter and he Is destined to surpass him even in this fields. That's why Oikawa said that kageyama Is still not strong and smart as him: 1)because he Is overall Better 2)because he knows that kageyama Will surpass him even as a player.

@@mence5992 have you even read the stats from both caracters? kageyama is better in jumping, stamina, GAME SENSE and speed. He is also better blocker (He blocks aran a top 5 spiker), the only thing better of oikawa in high school is his serves, and kageyama is getting close in that aspect

@@mence5992 also kageyama is smaller in highschool because he is two years younger than oikawa, but after the timeskip he become bigger than him (kageyama is 6'2.2 and oikawa is 6'1)
