Kudos for taking on what is likely a technically challenging task for most of your viewers, Sjoerd. Am reminded of your watchmaker vid (was the watchmaker a relative?). Curtain hanger = cotter pin. Neat tool kit. Might have been more of an incentive if you mentioned cost comparison between DIY and sending out to a shop, IMO. What would it have cost to outsource? How many times have you done this process before? If I were doing anything similar I’d take a series of smartphone photos along the way, step by step to help recover from errors. Sproing -- where did that one go? When working w/such small parts, I place them on tape to help them from drifting off. Long Johns shirt too casual, IMO.😁 Good thing the dog was not around to mess with dropped small parts.😁 Kidding aside, have you ever considered doing pro hand modeling work? Cheers!

Cheers Paul! Outsourcing is around 200/250€! Quite expensive. Done this 6 times before! Ive done one hand modeling job for Dutch beer lol😂

Rehouse get a completely new housing which makes the life of these lenses endless. Definitely recommend it if you can earn that back :-)

You can still fix it mate. Make it hot using soldering iron, use locktite and a screwdriver (00) and try again.
