Love your decluttering videos 🥰. I’m a single mum to three so having less stuff makes my life easier so I’ve been decluttering for the last year or so. I’ve definitely noticed my savings go up now I’m buying less 😊 x

I've noticed less storage=less clutter. Got rid of open shelves as this is where clutter was collecting the most.

This was such a great motivational video, it certainly made me get off the sofa and sort through my vast candle collection. Needless to say I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of any but at least they look tidier on the shelves xx

You have a lot of books, is there some reason for keeping them? I culled all but 2-3 books I haven't read yet, but they will be donated or given to friends after I'vs done so. According to feng shui books are heavy and cause stagnant energy in a room, so getting rid of them is often (or store them in a room where you do not spend so much time) is to prefer, to feel a lighter energy in a room. As you said you felt weight down, I thought I might chime in here :) All the best, love watching declutter videos and also your saving tips!

Perhaps you could replace the veggie rack with a cupboard of some sort and then those random items could at least be hidden away. I’m short of storage space too so my potatoes and onions are in the same cupboard as my Tupperware and shoe cleaning stuff! Unusual combination but it works for us.

I've just gone through my home again and have loads to donate when the charity shop's open again. Mainly toys my son doesn't play with. I've got rid of home decor, bedding, bags, shoes as well. House feels lighter. I've put it in the shed for now to get get it out of the way. More decluttering videos would be good please.

Ok some suggestions. From previously messy hoarder with kids in a terraced house . That small table next to tv table with lamp on as notice you have lamp other side. Move that table to dining room corner for lamp 1 plant and 1 candle. The aprons and runners especially Xmas have go elsewhere. Do you have cupboard under stairs. I put all our Xmas tableware inbox in loft and gets brought down in November. Open shelves I find don't work well if you messy or you have a lot of stuff. I don't like mix of ornaments frames and books on 1 book shelf. Have a couple for just books Couple for just ornaments and frames. Maybe get some nice boxes with lids with things you want to keep but hide as right how those shelves still seem too busy. Can't remember how big office is can you not either have combined office/ playroom one side to get toys out of Lounge and maybe small tv to have multi purpose room as you could you a newly tidied and declutter bedroom or living room for filming now kids back in school. That big white book case maybe better places in a office and something smaller and closed it its space like single ikea Billy with door. Your gold shelves may look better there than tucked away in corner. Alternatively could you small desk into bedroom and allow the boys to have their own room again. That would eliminate the toy situation in the lounge..decluter kitchen some more and find space for veg or you will forget about them and waste them. If you going to be there another year, you stressed and want to move its best to be ruthless rather than move clutter around. Good luck i agree its over whelming and constant process for me but I'm getting there slowly. I'm focusing on reducing clothes/toys/ surface open clutter and floor clutter. Not sure about adding extra furniture and storage is the answer.

Happy Mother’s Day! What about a book declutter? I have so many books that I don’t want to get rid of, but every now and then I get all the books from around the house and go through them and do a big donation to charity.

Your sitting room would be MUCH more spacious feeling if you got rid of ONE of your shelves / bookcase. Halve your books and decor and keep them all one one unit! Less to clean and dust, less places for things to collect where they don't belong!

I agree 2 massive shelves both open when you messy, have lots stuff and kids. I'm not keen on mix ornaments frames and books all on the same shelf.

I am actually also doing it right now as I am watching your video ! I am going through my daughter’s room because it was such a mess like a 🌪 came in and had devastated the entire room ! This video came at the right time because it’s going to give me the last push I need to finish her room by today 💪🏻 by the way I am 7 months🤰🏻 so it takes me a little longer to finish a room that normally 😅 but I am almost there 😅 thank you for the kick I needed !

I love books but have just got rid of almost all of my cookery books because I think I probably only ever cook one or two from each book and actually, we can google any recipe. Also gave my neighbour a stack of novels that ares still in my to be read pile as she had run out things to read. I also never buy magazines now, subscribe to one only, and once read I cut out anything I want to keep and get rid of them. Am not missing any of these things at all! Just goes to show how much we keep/hoard needlessly.

Your totally right about the more you declutter and keep minimalist, the less u want to buy and bring back in. This last year I’ve decluttered and cleared so much and likewise saved so much money. Loving your vids for motivation
