I recently did a wardrobe declutter too, and bought all of those black velvet hangers so everything matched. Oh wow, it is a game changer! Just having everything on the same type of hanger makes a wardrobe look more organised!

This has made me realise I really need to declutter my wardrobe. The biggest problem will probably be my pajamas because any tops I like but can't wear outside (eg my bright yellow roadkill top) I wear as pajamas but I have literally run out of space to put them and I think 15 pajama tops is a bit excessive.

Just went through my clothes a week ago. My dad travels a lot for work mostly and he used to bring us back a little present if he went somewhere new, so I asked him to always get me a t-shirt. Even after he stopped buying stuff for my sisters as they got older he always brought me back t-shirts well into high school. Some of them were very large and so I used a lot of them as sleep shirts, and then I had like five that fit well. Except now that I'm older I rarely wear them and so decided to get rid of most of them :(. I kept a few of the ones I sleep in but I mean how many sleep shirts do I really need lol

I liked this video. I think that maybe instead of calling things your adult clothes you should call them your professional clothes. You can curate a professional wardrobe without losing your identity or giving up band tees and flannels. I personally think that you DO dress your age.

Omg i loooventhis video, idk why but its very sentimental for me. Right now i dont have a house to live in. For a reason i have to leave my home and now im kind of living with my bf (it has not been easy at all :/) and some few days with my dad (i dont like it there) and i dont have my own stuff. I dont have my clothes, my makeup, all my stuff are in differente places and i feel like shit. I loved been in my home, in my room, organizing my closet cause almost all the time was a total mess, but it was my mess and i loved it :( thats why i loved this video so much, cause remind me myself and what i used to have, a lot. How old is that first dress from urban outfitters? And how old are your oldest clothes (also how many "oldies" do you still have and use?) I have to do this ASAP. I still live at my parent's house and there are bags of my old clothes scattered all over, but now I'm planning on moving out, and I know I can't take even half of what I own. I just have such an issue with sentimentality.

i cleaned up my dressing this weekend too ! and put aside some clothes for my cousin. The bottom of the funiture there is all the clothes i dont wear anymore and i want to give them to my cousin too BUT i found mice's poop and im soooo scared of mouse i had to call my mom to help me clean up and when i finished the top i was like : well, just waiting for the cats to go in there and i will do the rest

that time frame thing never works for me. kind of what you said , so many of my pieces of clothing i'm obsessed with but it hasn't been the TIME, then it's like why go out and have to buy something new when whatever occasion comes up. i LIKE having enough stuff that i can always be wearing something new, but at the same time i'm lowkey miserable having to store and take care of so much stuff. the struggle.
