That pantry is huge. You did so well. 😊 We do Mac n cheese and also Beefaroni in a thermos for lunch sometimes. But my kid isn't really worried about the temperature of the food.
Yes! I love it! So grateful after 6 years without one! Oh, Thanks for the suggestion! I’m thinking maybe if I did the thermos thing, it wouldn’t be too hot for her? I think I will give it a try and see!🤔
First time here like your videos...as a mom of four girls ranging from 16-3 chores are a must in order to keep everything running smoothly and sometimes that isn't enough lol 😂
I hear ya! I am one of 12 kids, so I know my mom HAD to have us help. I remember feeling like we did everything, and now that Im the mom, Im like OH YEAH! I get it now! haha!
Well hello friend. Missed ya. That's a pretty pantry kiddo. I always gave my kids things to do too. Even made my son cook and do laundry etc. He's glad I did that today. My daughter and I still live together and share all the work. It wasn't easy or fun but now we're all glad that I made them learn. Have a happy week. Hope to see ya back soon. ❤❤
Thank you Kathy! I have missed chatting with you! I think the art of “giving Chores” is getting lost in parenting today, but it is so important! I’m so grateful my husbands mom taught him to do things, because he is so helpful around the house! 💕 I’m hoping I can start posting again at least every other week - I “should” have another out next Monday! :) (if all goes as planned!)
Confused why like items aren’t together and things were taller in front so you couldn’t see things in the back and are we ignoring the crumbs from the toaster?
I organize based on how I reach for things. As far as shorter things in the back, those are over-stock or extras of things that will go in the bins, when I run out. And I probably did miss crumbs in the toaster. Not trying to be perfect, just showing my real life & the toaster gets used daily, & I do not clean that every day, other priorities ya know? 😆 I don’t fake things for videos, so what you see is just how I live. I also don’t always finish projects in my videos & come back & finish things later. It doesn’t always get finished on the same day. Thanks for watching! :)
Got ya For me it’s out of sight out of mind and as a professional organizer, I see people forget things behind things… I don’t have a toaster, but for my clients I suggest putting it in a dollar store bin Have a good day
Personally I do not forget those things, because I know they are there and I LOVE this system. I always check there when the container runs out, to refill or add to my shopping list, if there is nothing there - typically I add to shopping list, once I refill the container. It is a great system for me. I know that if I put my toaster in a. basket I will never put it back in the basket, because I do not like having to pull things in and out "un-necessarily" I think that no "no one size fits all" approach ever works well. I have worked to discover what my organizational style is and I love Cas at Clutter bug's advice. Are you familiar with her? I actually have learned a lot about my "style" from what she teaches and I am a Lady bug through and through, I like to "hide" my extras, seeing them stresses me out AND because of her system, I have learned the reason I will "not" put the toaster back in a basket is because of my personal style of being a "lady bug" It's a really cool system if you have never heard of it. I could never have the toaster out on my kitchen counter- that would drive me nuts, but because there is a door on the pantry, I like leaving it out on that shelf. It may help you give advice to clients who have a different style than you. =) @@jodischoolcraft9188
