Great topic and very timely for me. My husband and I downsized into a townhome 3 years ago and while it felt great to declutter, I think it’s time to do it again - and keep it up. I love that 30 day game idea and will try it out. Will also pass along to our aging family members who need it far more than we do. Thank you for sharing. ❤
I did start decluttering a few years ago and keep doing it whenever I feel like it. A few years ago in February I did that decluttering game. All in all 406 things. It was a lot of fun to figure out what I wanted to part with. In the end I was to relieved, happy and proud of myself for getting this project done. Since then, I periodically go through all my possessions whenever I am in the mood. I am not a minimalist, but I feel better with less stuff.
USSR. Not Russia. Yes. Decluttering our minds is the biggest problem. We left with only two luggage bags for each person. Never looked back and never blamed anyone for our parents decision.
