It's always like that with art. You come back the next day and totally see how to improve things you didn't find an issue with the day before. It's all part of the process.
Anyone have any issues with placing these deco’s and them floating? Tried adjusting the height but then it says “overlapping or interfering with another object”...frustrating.
I guess you are referring to placing pots and plates etc., and them slightly floating above the surface? Yes, very annoying, we mentioned it at 05:19 as well. 😎
Thanks a lot! Our main goal was to present players with ideas how to be creative without the use of mods, and that with a bit of imagination, a lot can be achieved. Glad you liked some of our ideas! Any suggestions for a new topic are always welcome.
I'm with you on this. I believe any advanced workstation should always allow you to craft what you can do on inferior ones. Just give us better sorting options to avoid clutter.
This is awesome! I love these ideas, really creative, thank you for sharing these and how to do them, I got a few favorites :). The one at 15:05 with the reinforced hatch door - I would never have thought of that, very cool! They definitely need to make the objects placement a little easier for us indeed.
Thanks! Knowing how creative you are with your bases usually, I'm glad you enjoyed it. ♥ The hatch is quite cool indeed, so simple, yet so effective in creating this brick chimney look.
@@Pixelcave Thanks a lot :). It's been such a long time since I've built a base, I got some plans for some builds this year though :). Definitely, I love the fact there's smoke coming out of the fireplaces and such to give the extra realistic look to everything going on! Looking forward for more ideas that can inspire building and decoration lovers around the community :). I always liked the attention to detail some of us players give to our bases.
I back to game after almost 3 years and plan spend some time in solo mode before move to online PvE. Have thing in this type of game to build open for all Taverns, Crafting/rest spots and have question. In this game other players can use your crafting stations?
It would be great construction and decoration tips using Arquitetos de Argos or Jóia do Oeste with glass thunder and Aquilonian lifestyle, currently on sale. I will eagerly wait for a video like this.
I'm new to the game and I really can't believe this it isn't more popular, I feel like they failed to advertise it, I had never heard of it before until I got it for free for PlayStation Plus, and I am a huge gamer and I keep my ear to the ground about new and interesting games, still hadn't heard of it. You're a master builder ma, this video shows a lot of creativity. I'm still trying to figure out basics like how to create a proper perimeter. They should absolutely make a sequel to this game on unreal engine 5 on the new systems/pc, just refine things some, and actually advertise it. Would be a breakout hit. Imagine this game in UE5, in VR :0
Thank you! Hope you're having fun in the game, there are definitely many hours which can be spent adventuring, exploring, building and much more. A sequel would be amazing, that's true, but they are currently working on a still unannounced survival game for the 'Dune' franchise - which hopefully turns out to be amazing! 😎
Not yet, but we had it in mind. The challenge is that there are so many different workbenches and it's hard to tell which will be used in combination. Providing tips for let's say an Improved Blacksmith's Bench when in the end a Garrison Blacksmith's Bench is used might end up being less useful. Any suggestions are welcome!
Nice to see someone who understands that symmetrical decorations have no place in Conan Exiles, or any other building game. I don’t use admin mode myself, but appreciate some inspiration. Thank you.
That's great to hear, thanks! Enjoy your time back in Conan, I'm sure there's a lot to (re)discover and many more changes/updates to come your way on console.
Crom would not be pleased. Crom doesn't cook in the kitchens. He eats the still beating hearts of his vanquished foes That said, great stuff, I've incorporated several of these ideas and will never invite Crom over for dinner
one of the reason's why I liked Valhiem over Exile was that they let you desince build pieces so you can make decoations better. even though the characters looked worse then in conan.
Oh, Valheim is awesome when it comes to building and decorating - different from Conan Exiles, but also allowing for so much creativity. Had such a great time in Valheim! In regards to more flexible placement in Conan, IF you play on PC, there are mods that allow you to do so. Unfortunately no such options exist for console players.
We used the fly mode as admin to get a better point of view when filming. The item bar is a mod called 'Building Shortcut Bar', makes it easier for us to present the builds when we can have multiple bars with item shortcuts. All of this is of course not needed for the actual builds, but allows us to present the builds as clearly as possible.
In old RP Servers I use to play I would use various tier 2 & tier 3 builds. I did like mods for some of the different types of props that could be used however overtime I got tired of getting booted off server because the mods weren't up to date. So I joined a unmodded server and problems went away mostly. Still overall dislike the combat when compared to Last Oasis/Mount & Blade but I did like building in Conan Exiles. Also Seppemeru is the best area for getting pretty much everything you need close.
hi, been trying to get the bug back for a few months now, keep logging in and redoing my decay timers etc but not really doing a whole lot, thanks to seeing your other video linked on the conan launcher and seeing such simple but effective things to do dress stuff up, really gives me the bug back , so thanks :) looking forward to coming back after couple days away and getting back into building some more
Thanks for the comment, that's really great to hear! I guess we all have times when we feel burnt out/bored, but taking a break is also important. Glad to hear you got the "bug" back though and that our videos provide a bit of inspiration for your next building projects. The game seems to continue to grow and add new stuff, so there's always something new to discover and try out!
Hold up... Which mod are you using that gives you multiple hotbars to cycle through? Great idea's by the way. I'll definitely play around a bit more with the kitchen areas.
There actually is, consuming Fragments of Power grants you additional feat points (I believe you need to be level 60). You can also craft Tablets of Power with these Fragments which give even more feat points (recipe needs to be unlocked in the Library of Esoteric Artifacts in The Unnamed City).
On the Isle of Siptah you can find a recipe which teaches you 3 new 'Nordheimer Shelving' storage units, which might work well together with the journals in game. Just an idea.
When you snap a door frame on a foundation, if you connect stairs on that edge, you can snap a normal pillar on the edge in the door frame. You'll need the stairs if you upgrade the pillar.
I believe you only need the stairs on the edge of the foundation to place the pillar, at least that's how we always do it (included it in our 6 Building Tips video as well). Or am I thinking about the wrong building tip?
Ah, I think I misunderstood, are you referring to upgrading in terms of building material? Just tested it and it worked with the stairs removed. I remember they did some changes in regards to the building upgrade system back in January, maybe that could have to do with it?
@@Pixelcave Yeah. I haven't used it recently in a build but with using the columns as chimneys with stoves surrounded with the door frames made me think of it.
