While researching the Dakar, I came across many people who started the journey, but never finished, and in many cases, never even stood on the start podium, mainly due to a lack of accessible guidance and realistic expectations. I was not able to find a clear, concise, or relatable account of how to actually get to Dakar, which is why I am creating one.
- Document my entire journey to Dakar Rally 2025.
- This will span the entire year of 2024, covering all aspects of race preparation, from training and races around the world to the logistical and administrative challenges.
- Provide regular progress reports on what I am doing, why I am doing it, and how to do it, for dissemination to media partners.
- I will utilize a diverse range of platforms from confirmed media partners: podcasts, videos, blog posts, social media, radio, etc.
- Create a comprehensive guide, and provide a realistic roadmap for aspiring Dakar participants from start to finish.
- This will ensure maximum coverage and value for all potential sponsors, ensuring that they are connected to a digital asset with long term value.
