She is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the batch of 1988. She earlier served as . She was deeply involved with the preparation and implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework for Foundational Stage 2022. She has spent several years leading, administering and reforming the school education sector of India and has acquired rich experience at the grassroots, state and national levels.
Brief - शिक्षा...एक विकसित राष्ट्र के निर्माण की आधारशिला है...भारत 2047 तक विकसित राष्ट्र बनने के संकल्प के साथ आगे बढ़ रहा है, तो भारत की शिक्षा व्यवस्था इस सपने को साकार करने में महत्वपूर्ण साबित होगी। आज देश कई अहम बदलावों से गुजर रहा है...नई शिक्षा नीति 2020..इस कड़ी में एक अहम बदलाव है। भारत में सबसे पहले राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति 1986 में ड्राफ्ट हुई...1992 में इसमें संशोधन किया गया...लेकिन 33 साल बाद...यानि 2020 में के. कस्तूरीरंगन की अध्यक्षता में बनी नई शिक्षा नीति में बदलते समय की जरूरतों के हिसाब से नई सोच और नई अप्रोच है....NEP 2020 ... 21वीं सदी की पहली शिक्षा नीति है। आज हम आपके लिए नई शिक्षा नीति को De- Code करेंगे...नई शिक्षा नीति से जुड़े हर पहलू को हम आप तक पहुंचाएंगे, हम समझेंगे कि कैसे राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति देश में एक बुनियादी बदलाव का संकेत है।

शिक्षा हमेशा से महंगी चीज रही है और राज्य द्वारा पोषित रही है फिनलैंड जैसे देशों में जिस प्रकार की शिक्षा है उसे उच्च शिक्षा हमारे यहां थी लेकिन हमने पश्चात शिक्षा अपना कर उसको भूल गए अभी भी हम गुलामी की जिंदगी जी रहे हैं

शिक्षा में आज तक हम नकल करते हैं जबकि हमारे पश्चात शिक्षा सर्वश्रेष्ठ है हमारी शिक्षा में कंपटीशन नहीं है और ना ही शिक्षा रोजगार के लिए है रोजगार अलग है शिक्षा अलग है भारत में उत्पादन केंद्र था उत्पादन के लिए कौशल की आवश्यकता होती है और एक सभ्य समाज के निर्माण के लिए शिक्षा अलग होती है अगर कोई डॉक्टर की पढ़ाई पढ़ कर कमाई करना चाहता है तो वह शिक्षा नहीं है हमे taxsila जैसे शिक्षा केंद्र खोलने होंगे और सारी शिक्षा राज्य द्वारा पोषित होनी चाहिए नई शिक्षा नीति मैं कोई खास सुधार नहीं है इसके लिए अत्यधिक शोध की आवश्यकता है

हमे ये समझना पड़ेगा एक दम से बहुत ज्यादा बड़े बदलाव नहीं किये जा सकते नहीं तो व्यवस्था टूट जाएगी धीरे-धीरे सबकी क्षमताओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए ही बदलाव करना होगा पहले से ही बहुत से लोग प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं इसके विरोध में कुछ तो सबको पता है 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 इनके गुलाम है ओर कुछ अपनी क्षमताओं को बेहतर नहीं करना चाहते

NEP is going to be historical failure... NEP_2020 is looking like changing of stages or increasing or reducing of time frame for earning degrees/ diploma. NEP 2020 is just a over burden on the limited teacher. Collection of data from school by the multiple authority for multiple times is the new normal work of teachers. Students are being made busy with over emphasize on co- curricular activities like preparation for dancing and playing. RTE-2009 is the major turning point of degradation of education. Now school is free not education. As per RTE-2009, there is mentioned student teacher ratio. But there are lot of school having single or two teacher/s, and due to that many gurdian says that there are no enough teacher in the school but the government is saying there is not enough students in school, therefore no more appointment. Every school is transforming inclusive in pen and paper, but the students are not getting well education as special schools, they are/ may be just getting comfort with normal society. Overemphasis on ICT, now a days all the educational planner mad with ICT or Educational Technology even if something can be written in black board simply with higher visibility (like mathematics). Student may be happy with some videos or tools of Educational Technology but it doesn't mean that they are learning. Our prime objective to teaching learning, joy should be integrated or secondary.

आप इतनी जल्दी फैसला क्यों कर रहे हों कि ये नीति ख़राब है ओर ये बात तो सभी जानते हैं पहले नीति सिर्फ Robot बाने कि थी जिसमें सिर्फ आदेशों का पालन हो सही या गलत इससे मतलब नहीं था 🇬🇧 इन्होंने इससे बनाते समय क्या सोचा था वो ज़्यादातर सबको पता है छात्र कि सोच को दबा दो वो गलती करे तो डांटो ओर मारों हिंसा से समझ का विकास नहीं होता समाज को बाकि चीजें भी तो चाहिए जो खेलकूद, नृत्य, संगीत, अन्य कलाकारों से आएगी नहीं तो मनुष्य सिर्फ़ पैसा कमाने के लिए अंधा हो जाता है जो आज हम समाज में होता हुआ देख रहे हैं ओर कोन सा छात्र कौन सी चीज चुनेगा ये उसके उस विषय के आंनद से ही उससे ज्ञात हो पाएगा हां साथ में उसकी उस विषय में क्षमता के आंकलन कि भी जरूरत पड़ेगी मार्गदर्शन के लिए शिक्षक ओर माता पिता है परन्तु छात्र कि सोच को अनदेखा करके उसके विकास में उसकी सहायता करना बहुत मुश्किल है 🙏

DED & B- ED is still not affordable for many people....as well as there is no such renounced colleges in such local areas means .. beyond reach of some females who already needs support to complete their studies डी.एड. और बी.एड. अभी भी कई लोगों के लिए वहनीय नहीं है....साथ ही ऐसे स्थानीय क्षेत्रों में ऐसे कोई प्रतिष्ठित कॉलेज नहीं हैं...इसका मतलब है कि यह उन महिलाओं की पहुंच से बाहर है जिन्हें पहले से ही पढ़ाई पूरी करने के लिए सहायता की आवश्यकता है।

Very nice and informative program. This NEP is a big challenge indeed with many stakeholders and the present school system has become a business - just dump the books upon students - give test etc. (1) The English info box was changing very fast, one can miss out, please slow it down in future.(2) When is the NEP is going to be rolled out, what are the list of SKILLS to be coached etc are MISSING in the English box. More such content act as a summary of this interview. The lady interviewer has done a good job.

Yes we have an Excellent Education Policy as we see now, but to implement that we need more than 15000 college that will cater those students in terms of their higher education that should only be the government colleges otherwise there will be a lot of population left without education or same as present condition like they have their degree but never gone to college. Then no one can imagine how this demographic dividend will become a liability in upcoming 20-25 years.

Everybody is looking for job and opportunity now .. and Nep wants us to learn local languages like Tamil Telugu etc. English which is an official language since long now English will be a foreign language 😂. So students needs to choose between English French German Chinese Korean Spanish Italian etc. Now who will be the brave student who will choose other then English language. Duniya chand pe pohanch gayi and Nep wants us to pandit ji once again. What about Foreign languages , students are learning since long now you want us to learn Sanskrit and Hindi. How many foreign language teachers will lose there jobs ? But nobody cares

How will they standardise the method of achieving all these goals? A small school will not be half as good as a big school. Making the basic medium of education regional language will be a tough transition for children with learning disorders such as dyslexia considering the relative complexity of regional indian langauges compared to english.

उच्च शिक्षा मे fees का आधार सालाना कमाई होनी चाहिए, जाति नहीं! उच्च व तकनिकी शिक्षा की fee सभी समाज, लिंग के लोगो के लिए कम व बराबर होनी चाहिए! ( केवल PWD को या अत्यंत पिछड़े कुछ आदिवासी वर्ग और अनाथ बच्चों के लिए मुफ्त होनी चाहिए ). ऐसे जनरल केटेगरी के बच्चे जिन्हे आरक्षण के कारण सीट नहीं मिलती,उनके लिए निजी संस्थानों मे कम शुल्क पर शिक्षा का अवसर मिलना चाहिए!

This government strongly promotes - education for elites, because only the elite class can pay 18% of GST. And yet the government spends not even 5% of GDP on education. And unfortunately in developed India (to be) only rs. Can determine who can study and thus increase the divide of haves and have nots. Pvt education institutions ( big mafias) to loot ka ghar hai. Right from nursery to Higher education. Education has become for the elite, by the elite, to the elite.
