Insignificant overseas box office? Srk has 2 movies which has grossed 4 billion rupees in overseas and 10-12 billion rupees worldwide. We don’t earn in dollars and our tickets are priced less. You can’t compare it with Hollywood’s super priced IMAX, super priced premiers, premium tickets. Indian cinema can’t have that hold cuz we make movies in regional languages, not in English It’s only srk who cracked open and beat those big Hollywood guns without dubbing in English He is the only guy Hollywood can’t ever afford,cuz he won’t go there. He isn’t a Jackie chan who stopped making movies in china and just keeps making in Hollywood. Also what do u mean by paid more than overseas BO? I don’t know about the others, but srk takes 60% profit share as the salary. So his salary depends directly on the movie collections. Srk defies ur logic. If u are talking about Indian cinema excluding srk, I agree. Actors are overpaid, but not srk. The reason being he has both numbers and stardom. He is literally the 4th richest actor in the world. U can’t become that big without cracking the code. Srk is richer than Tom cruise but he’s paid far less than him per movie.
