So beautifully written, Pratyush. I can't help but think, it's kind of ironic that we don't happen to mention Black and Rani as much when we talk about the SLB Heroine. Funnily enough, it's the Black theme track that makes it to the Bhansali Productions intro roll.

The video came up on my feed and rather than bhansali’s opulence, what caught my eye (rather ear) was how well the person is speaking . The voice is so clear and catchy that i ended up watching half the video even though i had no interest in it😊. Keep up the good work.

Movies reflect real life. At times fully based on real life stories like Gangubhai or Heeramandi. The status of women even in the 21st century is below that of a man..( in all classes of society, this can be seen). Their lives, complicated…Some have the courage to rise above the wretchedness like you say. Others try.. Atleast SLB tries to portray his heroines with a lot of authenticity
