thanks for the videos . Extremely helpful while preparing for my IDC. Very informative, well presented and easy to understand. If you have more videos that can help me out, please direct them my way.
Not sure I am answering your question, but supine position, 1 liter saline IV in first hour, 100% oxygen, make sure your bladder works, and if it is purely muskuloskeletal pain, consider 2 tenoxicams but still get Medically evaluated properly. Kind regards. Frans
Quick question, buddy said my headache was probably due to the nitrogen, possible Barotrauma or just clenching jaw, I had a cervical fusion done 3 years ago, c4/c5/c6/c7 are all fused with plate and 6 screws, I ask my buddy about it and he said shouldn't be a problem, but it can happen if I have extreme blocking of blood flow in the area, said I should get cleared before I go out with him? Any history of issues that you know of and should I continue diving with him or find another hobby?
Thanks Stacey. The big issue is the hyperextension of the neck to be able to look up while diving. It is not to say that you cannot dive, but get a good opinion - ideally from your neurosurgeon. They can look at blood flow with your head in the position during diving. Dr Frans Cronje
