Oh, never mind, I used glue; it's no fun sewing lace on. I did it for years and one day woke up and said, "What a waste of time." I've been gluing ever since and it's genius. Fast. Simple. Clean. Precise.
Which glue you might ask? Well, the awesome, toxic kinds of glue, of course: E-6000 or Goop. What's good for rhinestones is good for lace. (Keep your windows open and the fan blowing! No joke. This stuff is noxious.)
