I highly recommend you going to Santa Land at Macy's. It is magical! I was almost 50 when I went there and I felt like a kid again. Loving the NYC content so much!!

My decorations always go up on November 1. It’s too much work to get all decorated for Christmas and only have a month to enjoy it!! I live alone so if a Christmas tree going up on Halloween makes me happy, I just do it 😂

Hey Lauren! Your Christmas decorations are beautiful!🤍 I just wanted to tell you that although we ALL love the smells of wonderful candles, they negatively affect our pets. I myself have stopped burning candles in my home.😔 Won't go into detail, but you can google it online. That red door ornament is a NYC icon! It signifies the Elizabeth Arden Studio in Manhattan. The perfume is also named "Red Door."

Sorry…every time I hear the name, “Elizabeth Arden”, my mind goes straight to Prince Harry saying he used his mother’s face cream from Elizabeth Arden and put it on his “todger” when he had frostbite…from there I just move on to throwing up in my mouth. 🤮 Harry ruined Elizabeth Arden for not only me, but many others as well. The red door used to be the THING that meant Elizabeth Arden until Harry over shared and ruined it.

That's crazy. My grandfather was the perfect bow tier🥰 When we needed our hair bows, or dress bows tied, we were sent to Papa. He even made my mom a huge bow for the top of our tree. It was red velvet with antique lace trim. It was lovely. Good memories. The tree looks so good Lauren. My mother's magic touch was fresh babies breath. You can get it from a florist. You scatter it throughout the tree, and the smell is lovely, plus it looks like lace. I haven't celebrated Christmas is over 10 years, so I'll live through you🕯

Christmas is my favorite holiday and unfortunately my mum doesn't like it, my aunt likes it but she's an atheist and my dad is indifferent slash doesn't like it either. And then it's my little sister who used to like Christmas but this year she's very much doesn't look forward to it. They even suggested not to decorate the house! 😮😢 And I was shocked! So, I took it upon myself to decorate the house and try to bring the Christmas cheer in our house, I just hope my mental health cooperates. Your house is literally the epitome of my dream Christmas decorated house although I would go for more earthy tones. But it's truly beautiful and puts you right in the mood!!! Christmas came too quickly it seems at least for me hopefully it's a good and peaceful one.

At Lowe’s or similar, they sell these little sticks that you hang in your tree with the real tree smell. They are green so you can’t see them. That’s what we do with a fake tree. Makes a big diff and makes it smell like a real tree.

All my decorations are from Amazon and homegoods!! So I think they’re reasonably priced! I get some ideas based on my space, if I’m stumped I’ll look on Pinterest!
