My first time watching. Is this an old house? I grew up in Ohio and there are some beautiful farmhouses there. Especially in the southern part of the state.

Decorate for Winter, too. I have packed away anything obviously Christmas, but kept my bottle brush trees, evergreen piks, candles and anything white and sparkly still scattered around my house. I love January and February. Things are calmer and cozier and I relax at home and get my HYGEE on big time 🇸🇪❄️.

To me it always feels good to put all the Christmas decorations away for the year, do some much needed cleaning and then decorate with my regular decor with a few new things mixed in. I'm going very minimal this year as for decor. Well at least for now. Lol. Your home is so pretty and cheerful and bright.

Amy, I missed you. I was watching some of your old videos. I love the peace and calmness in your voice. It always feels, to me, like you are always changing out your furniture for new ones, when in fact you are just rearranging them or placing them in a different room. I love your style. Enjoyed your video. Getting through winter can be a challenge. Decorating touches always help uplift. I leave my mantle from Chrismas up, but take out the red and focus on the evergreen through January. I do take it down in February to transition to Spring. My greenery is artificial so no issues.

You are so right about needing a bright, cheery and airy of a space. Although I live in Los Angeles, I need my space to feel warm and bright through the winter months. By the way, I get a giddy feeling when I know you’ve posted a new video. I subscribe to about 70 channels for cleaning and decor but your house is my absolute favorite and inspires my own decor the most. Love this so very much! Definitely feeling inspired! I'm always torn about just when to put away our Christmas decor, as our home feels extra cozy when it's out BUT am loving the fresh white and soft champagne tones for sure! May I suggest adding the round Hearth and Hand wooden tray to your ottoman , under the crock. It will add stability and layering. Sharing your video on my FB page Creative Spaces. I just found your channel but I'm going to binge a bunch of your videos because I love your style! It's so pretty and I love how you have a vintage, rustic vibe but it's also clean and not too cluttered. While I tend to use more black and colors in my home, I have been challenging myself to incorporate more neutrals and less clutter while still making it my own and I love videos like yours for inspiration and fun ideas.

I don't iron either. In fact I had one for years for the just in case. And there use to be times where I needed it. And I'm actually really good at Ironing but I hate doing it. Anyway I finally got rid of it because it set there for years doing nothing.
