I love the minimal, non-cluttered, outdoorsy, airy look of this room.

Jason totally surprised me. When he asked for the official opinion on the recliner and moved over, I thought he was waiting for you. Not the dog.😆 I'm jealous of your new room. It's SO nice and I'm sure you will use it a lot. I'm thinking of how cozy you will be by the fire and Jason in his recliner with the sun shinning in the room to help keep you warm. Now my Grandparents had what they called Sunroom! Had windows all around the three sides of room with screens on windows and the old crank out windows! NO AIR CONDITION in those days! But …. they had this table I have never seen again … bottom had a fan and place for a big huge piece of ice and a heavy top to make it a table! Believe me it was HOT in Missouri in the 40’ ‘50’s & 60’s! I guess in the bitter cold with snow winters they shut the door! LOL Love your sunroom … high class … he’s covered it all! Heat in floors … fireplace … huge fan and the wall heating & cooling unit! And his recliner! Love Love Love it! Very nice Vlog today! 🌈🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️🌹

Leslie, I feel like your decorating videos bring you lots of joy and I am glad for you.At one point in my life my mother and I took care of my grandmother who had Dementia.My mother was still working so I was there 24/7.And I babysat my three nephews to boot.When her dementia first started I did all the wrong things.I tried to keep her in the here and now but I soon realized that didn't work,it really made it worse.My saving grace was the Lord.I bought little prayer books and I read the Bible a lot. I have now lost my grandmother, mother and one of my nephews. The I still cling to the Lord.I have a supportive church family,and that is such a help. I have added y'all to my prayers.Bless you and Jason.💒🙏🍁🍂💛🧡❤️🤎p.s. psalm 25 is my favorite passage from the Bible.

I am so happy that Jason is enjoying his dream room. I want to mention that we were unable to have a TV above our fireplace. Even with a mantle in place, the amount of heat rising would have damaged it.

I knew an elderly couple with a 4 seasons room. They had family photos on one wall. Maybe you could do a wedding photo, kids photos over the years etc. That would be nice reminders as his memory loss progresses

My partner suffers from PTSD...your channel helps me! We were married 17 yes, divorced 28 and back together now 5 years. He is a remarkable man and we have a son, daughter in law and 2 grand daughters in university together. He' s rebuilding relationships and doing awesome. Alcohol and smoke free 4 years now. Having someone who loves them and a supportive family can make a huge difference of them coping with their disability and challenges. Learning when to talk and when to just " do" really helped. Role of care giver is not for the faint of heart 💔 ♥ THank you! And I order Hello Fresh!!! Its one less thing for me to do. It arrives at the front door!!

Looks great, so glad Jason can feel like a kid in a big way and be able to still make some decisions and enjoy even the simple things in life. Even though you guys went through still a massive change but you still had to endure the entire process and still not completely finished. But at the end of the day, Jason has his new delightful and simple delicious SunRoom/ManCave with he luxurious leather recliner with his large TV. small fridge area(make want to incorporate a few goodie snacks just to compliment with the sodas. His heated floors, fireplace and very nice ceiling fan. OK, at the end of the day the new room with his wants Leslie is priceless. I think the babies are the priceless treasures but having his soulmate by his side my dearest Lesile the the cherry on the top..Yes, his speakers, still wonder some of his military stuff nicely arranged just to add a touch. Leslie food for thought. The large blank wall opposite the wall with the windows. Some very nice masculine prints which to have layers of matting would be impressive. I still think something on that wall that really makes a simple statement. Leslie just roll it around your head. Let's think big here, not any of the small decor stuff. You need something, not too much over the top but something that will draw some attention but will make that wall really make a statement. Love you guys. Jeff--North Carolina

I was very surprised. The classic appearance, neutral colors and rectangular furniture is what I aspire to. I expected lots more decor. Glad you emphasized that you need to live in the space for a while before you start buying decor. It makes so much sense, but I usually "rush to judgement" when it comes to decor so valuable advice from an expert!

Great job on the room! Love the size and the features of it. Re the poles outside and underneath perhaps just build out the bottom 1/3 to about 12” square and stone face it to blend with the retaining walls, then face the top 2/3 with stained or painted outdoor durable surface. I love the fact that you have many living areas to enjoy. We love that also, especially when you have four real seasons.

Totally agree, don’t rush with the decorating. We have lived in our home for 4 years. It took me a good year to know what I wanted to do.

So I want a four-season room and a recliner now. I have never seen a big fan like that, it's really neat! Everything looks great.

My biggest piece of advice for people moving into a new space is to avoid putting any kind of art on the wall until you've been there a while. I always lean it against the wall where I think it's going to hang and live with it for a while before I start hammering holes in the wall. I usually end up moving it around and room to room until I make a decision. I was an Army brat and my mom had to be really thoughtful before she hammered nails into Army housing.
