I haven't shopped in a Dollar Tree store in about 10 years. The reason is that the closest one was out of my way to drive to. Recently a Dollar Tree opened very close to my house. I went there & wasn't impressed with the items. I'm going to give it another try, though. It might be because there were a lot of shoppers there because it's a new store. Also, it's Easter time. Maybe many items were just hard to keep in stock. I did try & like their frozen seasoning mix though.
Our drinks already went up to $2.50, to $3.25. Some candy is $3.00. It's ridiculous. They join the gas goudging pricing and I'm done putting my money in that store. Its Chinese own, how much more they gonna own and take in the U.S.?
I love your pieces. Dollar Tree is increasing prices and decreasing staff. At the store near my house, it is all self-checkout. One staff at the balloon counter.
I've already discovered that Walmart and other stores carry items that are cheaper than Dollar Tree. I believe they're about to make people shop around for better products and prices.

Loved all of your projects. I probably will do more price comparison now if Dollar Tree raises there prices again. I have found similar and better quality items at other stores anyway.
@@DazzlingDesignsByDeniseIf Dollar Tree goes up-again-I will certainly explore other options. I used to buy some crafting items at Tuesday Morning. When they went out of business it left a void that no retailer has filled. I would love to know what other inexpensive stores are out there. I try the resale shops, estate sales, garage sales, you name it. Dollar Tree knows that oftentimes their products are used to upscale. That’s why they plan to raise the prices-again. DollarTree needs competition to enter the market.
I think that as Long as They Do not Raise those Prices to More than $1.50 to $1.75 But still Continue to Sell good quality items; PEOPLE will still SHOP there because the Other Stores Sell those Same items for 300-500% Percent More. But if they Go Over the $1.75 out of Greed, then PEOPLE might Consider Stop Buying there.
For some reason I couldn't comment earlier so I'm back. I saved this video to make all three lovely projects. I imagine Dollar Tree is testing the waters with 7.00. I've tried the refrigerated foods at 5.00, but I certainty don't believe those products are worth 7.00. Remember, everything is in smaller packaging or quantity. Let's see if they raise the 1.25. Dollar Tree is upgrading to compete with party stores. Hundreds of YT influencers using Dollar Tree for crafting, home care, holiday refreshing, home decor keep Dollar Tree in business.
Love your show! You mentioned that DT is raising their prices again. When they opened their slogan was "Everything's a dollar and always will be." That didn't last long. My biggest peeve is that while they raised prices, the quality of their m. Merchandise has gotten thinner and cheaper. NO. I will not be shopping there anymore. I can look for sales at Hobby Lobby or Walmart.
Hi Denise, I love the wreath with the ribbon. All of the DIYs are very pretty. I have found that each Dollar Tree have something different. The home signs you used; I never seen them in my local stores. The mirrors are smaller and from what I've read the $3 and 5.00 prices are increasing and the $1.25 items will be $1.75. Yes, I will continue to shop at Dollar Tree for crafting items, because they will still be cheaper than the craft stores. We will have to be intentional when we shop. The Dollar Trees in my area doesn't have the mirrors and the greenery isn't as nice as what you're showing as well as variety 😔 your creations are beautiful ❣️
Denise I like all especially the Home vase. I'll continue to shop at Dollar Tree. You just have to adjust your spending. When the price increased to $1.25 it took time to the price change but we got use to it and we will once again adjust to the change. Sorry so long. Happy Easter to you!! Blessings my friend
Let's HOPE that doesn't Happen. Unfortunately, the USA is allowing its beautiful nation to become Third World with their Cowardliness in fighting for their freedom and Safety!!! I come from athird-worldd country and I can tell You that AMERICANS will Regret acting ALOOF and thinking that it will Not Affect them personally; Until it's TOO LATE!! Also - Americans are too individualistic to CARE about what happens to the person Next Door. They learned Nothing from Sept. 11th, the Pandemic, and the Columbine Shooting. Americans Refuse to LEARN ANYTHING from the mistakes of other countries, and the AMERICAN CITIZENS are Too individualistic to CARE about what happens to their nation at the Community Level. And I am NOT famous to Get to their heads; because Americans DO NOT LISTEN and do Not pay attention to Somebody Who is NOT in front of the CAMERAS ALL the time; or they JUST DON'T CARE. The Citizens of El Salvador, Honduras, Haiti, Guatemala, Argentina, and many African Villages CAN GIVE AMERICAN LESSONS of WHAT IT IS to live with CRIME their Entire LIVES; but the Regular American wants to PRETEND that NOTHING will TOUCH THEM; they LEARNED NOTHING from the Sept. 11th incident and from the PANDEMIC, and the Columbine Shooting; they think that by Moving Neighborhood with their MONEY is Sufficient and as long as it "DOES NOT AFFECT ME PERSONALLY" "then I am OK with it" Such Poor Mentality is Destroying their beautiful NATION. Agreed, once the minimum price gets to $2.00, it’ll start making more sense to get more crafting supplies from JoAnns/Michaels/Hobby Lobby (especially when they have sales). I also hope they improve quality as they increase prices. TFW! 💕
