In this video, Josh Ellsworth with Stahls' CAD-CUT direct (cadcutdirect.com) teaches you how to decorate football jerseys for high school. He'll be using CAD-CUT® Thermo-FILM® and 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective to decorate the uniforms.
Have you ran into problems with the decals(numbers and names) sticking to skin? Also what distributor do you use to get your jerseys from, if you do not mind me asking? I've been watching your videos for the past few days and feel an urge to get into this business. It started with wanting to customize iPhone case, and after clicking to related videos i feel like i need to get into the customize business lol.
While an iron can work we cannot guarantee permanent adhesion throughout wash and dry cycles. To ensure a durable transfer that lasts, a heat press is a must.
Thank you for the reply. I understand you cannot guarantee adhesion. But, since I am just a regular guy w/out a heat press, do you have any suggestions for using an iron? Thanks again!
Best recommendations are to iron on a hard, flat surface to provide even pressure. Use linen heat setting and no steam.1.Preheat the garment in the area you are applying2. Place design and iron with firm pressure for 25-30 seconds3.Turn item over, and apply for an additional 25-30 seconds4. Peel carrier hot or cold as instructed by manufacturer These are meant to be a guide and these times may vary depending on the manufacture of vinyl as well as type of material in which it is applied. Thank you!
+sonya Penn Stahls' Cad-Cut direct is not a decorating company but rather the manufacturer of the materials used in the decorating process. So we cannot produce this garment for you . Thanks
