It's interesting seeing how methodical people can be with Christmas decorating. I'm more of a tacky Christmas kinda gal 😂 All sorts of colors, textures, sizes etc. It makes me nostalgic and I have a lot of ornaments from different places and memories in my life. The chic decorations you have are fun to admire though

What you described as “tacky” we call traditional/kid friendly. We do that in the living room for my husband and Granddaughter. I get a monochromatic gold and cream tree in the family room. And our Granddaughter has a glam hot pink/Star Wars mini tree in her room (she’s six). I used to think people who put up more than one tree were over doing it…now I totally get it, lol.

Looks gorgeous. Love all the textures. In the Caribbean because we don't have snow, we do stuff like putting cotton on the tree and definitely tinsel & garland lol. I'll never forget when I was little and learned that putting real candy canes on trees in a tropical country is not advisable because mine melted...

I do my tree skirt last only because my ladder caught on the skirt and ruined it. It was a beautiful beaded tree skirt from my grandmother. 😣 Balsam Hill should sponsor you! They have pre lit garland that would be stunning on your amazing staircase.
