I do the same thing for my kids. They get a hallmark ornament that has something to do with something from their life that year. They get to open it on Christmas Eve every year since they were babies. One is a senior in high school this year, and one is married and in the Navy, but the tradition continues ❤

I have a 7.5 ft tree and this year I fonally counted 36 strands of lights , not everyone of them are 100 light size..some strands are 300 light counts. My dad is the one who taught me long ago , how to decorate trees and wreaths and ornaments !!! So now he can see my tree from Heaven ! As for ornaments its a family tree so there are at least 1000 ornaments total and more in storage. Most of my ornaments are stored in original boxes and are safer in the boxes when you take them down and place into storage.. But I have ornaments from when I was in high school ..and my tree is full of memories from the 34 yrs of marriage , 3 kids and currently 7 grandchildren...so my tree represent all of that. Have fun with your tree decorating

Very well done! Love the trip down memory lane. The tree needs a little more of Pennsylvania. Ornaments from Knoebels, Dutch Wonderland, Sesame Place and Hershey Park would be wonderful addition to your 🌲.

🦋🦋Hi, Cris!! Christmas ornaments are very special. I still have felt teddy bear ornaments that my grandma and I sewed together when I was about 10. She taught me how to cross stitch for those ornaments, and I still have her giant sewing box. Very special. ☃️🦌🎅🏻🌲

I just love pretzel guy and the Hershey Gardens ornaments 🥨🍫 The memories and stories behind each ornament are just so special that I couldn't imagine tree-decorating any other way 💗 People are always looking for ways to display what they hold close, what better way than a tree? Love the show and tell of the ornaments, I love looking at other peoples trees and how they decorate it, every ornament I have had a meaning too and I don’t add colored balls as I have a ton of ornaments that barely fit already.

Merry Christmas! Great job on the decorations and personal style share. I think my favorite thing are the Kenner Ghostbusters action figures in the witches cauldron. And as someone who leaves a few haunted mansion things out all year, I like the little Santa hats and wreaths. Very clever.

If you guys roll through Marceline, Missouri, don't forget to come to Kansas City where Walt Disney's original studio was, where he first created the idea of Mickey Mouse because there was an actual mouse running around on the floor that he named I guess and later illustrated 😆 It's sits at 1127 E 31st St, Kansas City, MO 64109, and from what I heard they're planning on restoring it and turning it into a museum. 🐭
