Those blue dishes were used in our house at Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. My mom had a whole set and now my sister still uses them at Thanksgiving. Beautiful and sweet memories. Your house is just so pretty!

If you want to get paint off the hardware...just put them in a thrifted crockpot and cover with water, making sure all are submerged totally. Plug in, cover, put on high...check on it hourly...the paint will peel off!

Just an fyi from a professional photographer and videographer, your lens has a min and max focal distance. It will stay in focus in between those points without focus breathing. If you get too close to the lens it will go out of focus or focus breathe. Same with too far apart. Most cheaper lenses don’t focus up close. If you want to focus really close get a better lens or hold ur object in between the focus points and zoom in while editing in post processing. Your camera or lens should allow for infinity focusing on manual focus. Prime lenses are best for video. 24 mm is wide but great. 35 mm is what our eyes see and will give you a closer focus. Sony cameras and sigma lenses are great for video. The new Sony ZV-1 is an amazing vlogging camera and does great in low light and focus is unbelievable. It looks like your camera lens is focusing on the closest thing to the camera, you can change the focal points to focus on everything front to back with infinity focus.

I had a bird build a nest on my door wreath last year and I was excited until they hatched, the bird poop didn’t bother me, but they brought bird mites. Ugh and it sucked they came in my home, my pest control company had to come in and spray everything, thankfully the birds had left because if not I would’ve had do deal with the bird mites until the birds were gone, since it’s illegal to remove bird nest were I live. So as much as I love nature I wouldn’t let a bird build a nest anywhere near my actual home structure. I wouldn’t mind it if they build it on our trees though, because dang it they are freaking cute! And just add wood glue to the stool leg and it’s set.

Just because you asked, I think the wreath needs to be out cause its so cute. Seems to get lost in the hutch. Also, you should plant those daffodils when they loose there blooms. Will come back next year. Could be a nice surprise for the next owners.

I have a huge collection of those Currier and Ives dishes. I love how every piece has a different scene. Also it’s a deeper blue than blue willow which I like. I have a similar milk stool and one leg that falls off too!

Amy, the blue currier and Ives dish I collected in the 60 for my hope chest! Now my son has them!

Those first two baskets in the beginning are the best for foraging wildflowers and keeping them neatly together in the car until they get home. They are getting harder to find. Those birds are so sweet. Keep that nest when they are done with it. It will look so sweet under a cloche!! Im trying to think of the number of times I find nothing 😳. I just love thrifting.

Never see crocks in our thrift stores. So many in the states. What were they used for originally? Enjoy your content.

Looks great hun, love the shelf of the blue plates, saucers & cups you got where they are. Also the pot with germs & the stool with the topiary Do Not clash, they look good together. NOW 2 Tips for You… 1) if you don’t want wax in a candle holder go to Amazon and get a pack of “sticky Dots” you can cut them to different sizes & hundreds of uses, they won’t damage anything & just pull back off. If your worried about where something is that a child, dog or adult could knock over, just put a sticky dot under it. 2) you could even use the sticky dots to put the wood leg back into that amazing price find for the small stool or I say others said wood glue ( and yes), but if you want or need to get wood glue for the stool or antique piece of furniture get: Gorilla Wood glue!!! I’ve tried all through my caree & it is the best & you can find it also on Amazon. But the sticky Dots will become your best friend, even is a basket or mirror or piece of art doesn’t sit straight put one or a small cut of one on them and they don’t move anymore!!! “There Great!!!!” Sending much love to you and your family😍❣️❣️❣️

I just got a message from my daughters piano teacher to come to the back door for her piano lesson because she had baby birds that were hatched in a nest the momma bird made in the wreath on her door. The baby birds are so sweet.

Do you oil your wooden utensils? Just use some vegetable oil on a rag and allow them to soak up the oil and then just wipe them!

My first thought was to paint it white and place it in my bedroom on my long white dresser. The seller said it was from the seventies. Would you paint it?

I found a treasure box in a used store with tons and tons of those dishes that God led me to about 3 years ago! I only ended up paying about $18 for all of them. Use wood glue and toothpicks to fill the looseness of the leg. And then put books on the seat to make it heavier till it dries.

I have a robin's nest on my front door wreath….4 eggs….3 have hatched. So much fun to watch. The robin is a good mother ! Love your thrift finds, especially the blue pitcher💙💙
