Can you answer a question for me? I have a large rod similar to the one you show there. It opens the drapes from the middle of the rod. The control has a tension pulley. (no weighted pulls). The cord has frayed and is unraveling, and the tension pulley broke. Can it be restrung to use separate weighted pulls if I want? Or does this system require a continuous loop of cord going through the tension pulley? And if it requires a continuous loop of cord, how do I measure for it and install it?
