I thank you for showing us your "bloopers".... This helps us to realize that we all make mistakes and I think you recovered your project very well. Now I understand why it is so important not to over do the triple thick so all is not lost. You do beautiful work, thank you.

As always, a beautiful work of art. I didn't ever think of doing anything with Terra Cotta pots. It makes them look expensive. YES, I would definitely LOVE IT if you had a contest. I think that would be great 😊 Wow. You've done this for decades! That's amazing. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge about decoupage.

Btw, I'm new to decoupage and just discovered that the Americana Napkin Decoupage Glue is out of stock EVERYWHERE! Fortunately, I have a nearly full bottle to work with. Love doing Terra Cotta pots.. beautiful colors. That’s a Great tip for blending paint.. will definitely have to try it. I literally gasped at how beautiful this pot is! Mistakes or not....wow!! I say this video kept it "real" and let us know mistakes are OK. You are a great inspiration and will be heading over to the craft store today to make my own decoupage pot. Thank you!!
I love your work and it has inspired me to paint and up-cycle with decoupage several things around my home. A very large old birdhouse that my mom gave me now has some cute cats walking along a fence on the sides and front. I found that paper in my scrapbook stash. I am in the process of painting and up cycling two old dressers One is almost finished and sitting next to the door in my garage where everyone comes in. No one seems to use the front door here. I am going to decoupage some flowers on it as soon as I can find the flowers I want. So yes I would be very interested in some of your napkins! Especially the ones you used on the little white side table with a drawer. The other dresser is painted as of yesterday. I will look at it today and see if it’s going to need another coat. I will be using it in my laundry room.

I came across your video because I love birds and aqua colors. I have wanted to learn how to decoupage and am encouraged because your video and instructions are easy to follow. Dont' worry about mistakes Patti. There are days where nothing - and I mean NOTHING - works out as it usually does. Best is to set things aside and continue another day. Forcing things doesn't help much, as I can tell you from experience. It will just annoy you and you won't be satisfied with your project. Though your pot turned out very pretty. You fixed it very well ;-)
You sure do know how it works right? I can tell because you are so right, some days it seems no matter what we do, it just won't come together. I am so tenacious in that regard that I keep forging ahead. AT some point I do have to say, "OK, I'm throwing in the towel!" Before I pull my hair out. Thank you for your kind words Crafting Lady! Hi April! You are so right, we do have those days. Thank you so much for your kind words, now that I look at this planter I like it more and more. Isn't it something how that works out? Even if we try to copy something step by step we all have our "flair" and way of doing things, it's the great thing about art, It all comes out differently! I do remember things from years ago but I really should write down the persons name so I can credit them. They probably saw it from someone else too though. LOL Patti
