One tough yote, hit, bleeding, dying, and still fighting on 3 legs! True survivors. Huge level of respect for that particular North American game animal.
@@StephanB.300 Big dogs will usually lose to a large gray wolf. The males are like 140 to 150 lbs. And with wild wolves it is all muscle. They don't look as big on camera but they are huge in person. And they survive every day killing large animals for food. They are not getting their food out of the bowl that someone provided for them. These are apex predators. People who hunt wolves with dogs have several dogs to take on one single wolf.
Just one minor correction. Coyotes are never considered a game animal. They are predators and they are tough, gnarly and they are like cockroaches when it comes to surviving!!!! If you kill 6 dogs from their pack, next Spring, they will have the regular litter of pups plus 6 more!!!! They will survive!!!
Agreed. Of course the dogs love it, sure...but this is fully animal abuse when you're risking them getting seriously injured for no good reason. Injuries that could haunt them their entire life.
Agree had plenty of chances to take the shot more worried about there camera angles than getting the job done won’t watch another video and won’t be subscribing
Every creature in this hunt suffers. The caliber is not chosen with enough potency to kill the hit coyote without suffering. The dogs are unnecessarily injured in the coyote's death struggle. As a hunter with sense and compassion, the killing shot should be made quickly and safely, without gloating over the coyote's suffering and the dogs' faithful but pointless struggle.
@@rickhavingfun Those Micro-Pits are half Pit and half Patterdale I believe. One of them killed an eleven month old baby a while back. I've seen Patterdales dig out Badgers on a RU-vid video.
@@stfuplsok it’s like a small wolf native to North America but also invasive in other parts. They are dangerous to people in large numbers. A single coyote is dangerous to pets and children. They can also carry rabies.
I hung coyotes, but not with dogs. So I’m a little ignorant here and would like some understanding. How is it more beneficial to hunt with dogs and let the dogs get hurt vs using calls?
This was awesome to see. I love watching working dogs and hunting dogs in action. I just wonder why, with all the ratting dog videos I watch, it took RU-vid this long to recommend me this channel! Hope to see more from you guys. A quick scroll below and glance at your channel seems some snowflake types got all up in arms over the video, so there seems to have been a long stent of inactivity in the channel till 2 or so months ago. Look forward to more videos demonstrating the amazing coordination and training of your dogs.
Damn I was having a shit fit , my trigger finger was imitating a grand maul epileptic seizure, I thought oh hell, he's only gonna shoot his camera, Then Boom, dirt nap for the demon dogs. Well done, and thanks.
Just curious, why do you wait so long to shoot them? I saw them coming quite close a few times. Is it just to give your dogs some action and to keep them engaged?
Вашему Ягдтерьеру нужен надёжный партнёр! А желательно двое! Три ягтерьера, и уверен с шакалами проблем не будет! Эти две собаки ему не помощники! Он по сути сам дрался там с двумя. На этот раз ему повезло.
You’re absolutely terrible and irresponsible for exposing your small dog off far in the distance to those larger, very wild animals. Around the 2:15 mark we see the little guy almost got taken out, tangled up. Your gun coulda jammed and those coyotes had a clear shot to rip him, maybe overpower him. Don’t even take the chance!
Manni love your videos, kids are forever wondering what I'm laughing at on the couch... they come investigate to see me watching your dogs running around lol.
Never done this before therefore I know nothing about it. But wouldn’t it be smart to bring a shotgun so when they get close you could shoot them? If not let me know why I’m interested. Not trying to down the video or anything it’s just I know nothing about using dogs for coyotes and I seen acouple times where you could have probably shot them with a shotgun👍🏻
@@blu_otaku7063 He doesn't shoot when the dogs are close to the coyote the shot scatters about 100 times less than you are thinking. You couldn't measure the scatter in feet, you would measure it in inches.
