You are awesome! Thanks for showing this on the Flexee looms. I want to love the Flexee Looms but all the movement requires me to grip with my hands more and with my arthritis it is a painful chore. I appreciate you doing this video! Thank you! 🥰❤
Thank you! 🥰😘❤️ I understand about the pain, it hurts my joints, too. The Cindwood universal hat/scarf loom is much less work when making this kind of toe. You don't have to move all the stitches around, only the ones just to the sides of the sliding wedges, then you move the wedges into the new position, super easy. If I could only have one loom, it would be that one, but I am still enjoying the Flexee while my arthritis isn't too bad, yet.
❤️ those links do take force to separate. You can make the same toe on the Cindwood universal hat/scarf loom, using both sliding wedges and moving them inward as you decrease the stitches to either side of them. You do have to loosen and tighten the wing nuts, but it's much easier on the hands than the Flexee links.
Cool video review and I love your sock too!!! Actually your two videos are the only ones here on RU-vid so far because I have been checking daily for some besides myself that is knitting a sock on this loom. I just got my loom like about 4 weeks ago and I'm at the start of a sock cuff with 60 pegs on the loom. And I have two cats one male and one female cat one male 6 months old and one little male dog 11 years old and two female guinea pigs 4 years old!!! And hoping more people will post more videos on this loom too!!! 🤗🐈🐱🧶🧦🐕🐶❤️
Yes, it's different, the heel is short rowed and the toe is worked in the round. This video was only to demonstrate how I make the decreases on the toe, removing links, etc., not a full sock tutorial. The yarn I used is the November Yarnable colorway, Cinnful Delight, by Hypnotic Yarns. I was going to post finished photos in the community section, but I don't have one, lol. I put them on Instagram. Here's the link instagram.com/p/C3BKKH2PwXe/?igsh=bHJoYXIxM3dydXU5
@@gurginsnooginspouf Am a loom knitter too and love the flexee loom links, am about to order the new gauge ( the ones that you are using on this video ) mainly for making socks and probably for little dolls, I had to figure out how to loom knit a beret hat in the round using the chunky flexee loom links and was pleased with the end result, removing links for decreasing made it easy with this links, I have also loom knit gloves using the skinny links and again am very content with the end result because of this links.
